The winner last night was: Jafronius
Now let me show you some cards that I was hoping would be dime cards that I picked up in Jax. in May.
I've already explained it to him (at the Clearwater show), and he tested the waters and went and made a deal for a modest bulk buy (not dime cards by any means). He did pretty good, and on the sport I bought half of them and paid him what he had paid for the entire lot. He did good there, so we'll see how it goes in the future.
Now I move on to cards that I picked up from Fred's table but were Kyle's cards and not Fred's.
I think Fred charged .50 cents a piece on these, been awhile and I'm not positive.
This get the May Jax. show all done, and I can move on to the remainder of the May pick ups which is awesome. Clearing all of those scans out feels good.... real good.
Hey I had that Gonsolin blue in my COMC cart and then my cart was magically cleared -- I hate when that happens. Gonna have to reload.
ReplyDeleteI like the sideburns on the Steve Carlton card.
ReplyDeleteYou're training your supplier, very good.
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed the "Cal, Ripken, Jr." error?
1964 Topps Frank Howard, winner, winner!
ReplyDeleteNice pick up! Like the Corey Seager and the Spencer Strider cards.
ReplyDeleteLove the McCovey with Clemente card! And that Rutschman Blast Furnace card is awesome! I want it!
ReplyDeleteNice pickups, especially the Ripken!
ReplyDeleteAre those Griffeys on the first picture unlicensed cards? Pretty good for older ones
ReplyDeleteNice Howser '62. That is my birth year so that's why I like the '62s.
ReplyDeleteApologies if my comment showed up multiple times. I'm getting weird errors from blogspot right now.
ReplyDeleteHehe Big League foils in the fifty-cent box already. Gotta love it. And hmm I might have to grab that McCovey Stadium Club Chrome.
ReplyDeleteThat ‘94 ToppsGold Ryan would’ve had me and my 11-year old friends thinking we were millionaires if we had pulled it in 1994.
ReplyDeleteI think I got the ‘23 Topps Gold Luis Robert out of a pack of ‘23 Topps earlier this year.
Good on you for showing the new guy the tricks of the trade! Nice pickups too
ReplyDeleteThe early SI for Kids card of Mattingly is fantastic. Loved that design.
