Shadow Shots

I sit here waiting for the help to show up, an hour late already. Some people are just useless, I'll be looking for another weekend girl......again. So, with my day starting out so fantastically let's brighten it up with a few baseball cards.

1) Flatback horse

2) Frog

3) Question mark.

Two for One

First of the two is the Keepers I pulled from the 2019 complete Topps Holiday set, that I picked up BIN on Ebay for $19.99 delivered! I even got a SP (at least I think I did).

They put 7 of the Trophy Cups in the 200 card base set.  Go figure.

Chappy is the card I think that I see SNOW.

These all are for the PC's.

Those were my keepers.

Now on to Two.  Wednesday before last was my 1,500th post. I didn't realize it at the time.

I had always told myself I would do something special for that, but I screwed it up. Anyways, it has come and gone. I'll squeeze a "for no reason at all" contest out in the near future to commemorate that feat.

Have a great night and safe weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving all. I am thankful for many many things.

Top 3: I am thankful that I woke up on this side of the grass today. (everyday).

I am thankful for my family.  I am thankful for all of the blessings I receive everyday....those I see and recognize, and especially those I don't even know.

The 1957 Topps DUPES

We know that Night Owl gets to pick the first 6 cards. As of this posting we have not had a winner for the (3 cards) guessing the cost of the binder. I will let that ride until midnight tonight (post here). Then Greg gets to choose his next 2 cards for picking 17 HOFers. There is still no winner (1 card) for the percentage complete for the set build, which I'll let ride until midnight as well (post here).

I've scanned the fronts and backs for each of the 112 available dupes. I did not auto correct these so they should appear as they are.

Okay Greg just let me know what numbers you want for the first 6 picks.

Wacky Wednesday

I'm back (in GA). Hurrying about to get this post and then to read hundreds of e-mails. But, that's what I get when I decided to not turn on my laptop yesterday (or while I was in FL).

If you stare too long at this one your eyes will hurt.

Can he stay up in the air long enough for the ball to drop into sight?

Twofer, literally 2 cards in the scan, and one of them is a double dip.

See ya.

Posting this morning rather than tonight, as I am hitting the highway later today.

Up first are so cards from some of the cards that Bo sent to me.

Only showing the Braves I needed that Bo sent.

Bo sent along, a bunch of set build needs too mostly 2007 Topps Update, and 07 Upper Deck, but several other smaller stacks too. One day, I actually hope to have all of those modern sets completed.

Let's see I went back on Ebay and hit up that seller with the 5x7s again.

This Shelby isn't a 5x7 though. But an autograph of a guy I collect (Miller) for $2.36 qualifies for the Lincoln Files.

Most of the 5x7's were between 1.04-1.25 each.

Including these birthday binder guys.

A pair of Correa's too.

Shohei cost $1.62.

A couple of nice variation horizontals.

This pair was 3.25 each. the most costly of all of the 5x7.

Touki was $3.09

Not a bad haul. I guess I'll have to pick up a box of those special pages.
