Fred's house kick starting the cards

Reiterating what I paid for the cards. It was a bulk buy. Basically per card the cost was .35. Three for a buck in other words. I picked out a handful of the cards that were priced high and have the breakdown on them for you here tonight.

1- the price on the card was $30.00, which is the high Beckett. ComC has them 15-20, Sport Lots 25-30.00, but you could find a BIN on Ebay for $15.00. I don't get any of those prices, but that is what the are.

2-20.00, Beckett too, there weren't any listed on the other sites.

3-25.00, ComC 4.00, SL 15-25.00, Ebay $5.00

4-20.00, Beckett 12.00, ComC 5-15, SL 12.00, Ebay 10.00

5-20.00 Beckett 20.00, ComC 10.00, SL 20-30, Ebay $5.00

6-25.00, Beckett 20.00, ComC 27-30, Ebay 14.00

7-20.00, Beckett 20.00, SL 9.00, Ebay 4.00

8- 25.00, (I believe this could be the blue tint, not sure), no others listed.

9- 25.00, ComC 24.00, Ebay 25.00

Looks like Ebay would have been the best deal on the first 9 cards (Of course my .35 beats them all)!

1- 8.00, comc 3-8, SL 40, Ebay 5.00

2-30.00, none listed

3- 20.00, ComC 3-8.00

4- 20.00, ComC 4-10.00

5- 20.00, Beckett 4-10, ComC 3-10, SL 8-20, Ebay only had 1 it was graded a 10 for $180.00

6- 25.00, Beckett 20.00, ComC 5-6, SL 5.00, Ebay 10.00

7- 20.00, ComC 5-11, SL 4.00, Ebay 8-30.00

8- 20.00, ComC 1.50, SL 1-25.00, Ebay 2.00

9-25.00, Beckett 20.00, Ebay 6.00

1- 20.00, ComC 3.00, SL 15.00, Ebay 6.00

2-20.00, beckett 20, comc 10, Ebay 15-110.00

3- (this AG mini is a Brooklyn Red back #d 25) none listed.

4- 50.00, none listed

5- 20.00, Beckett 15, ComC 8-11, SL 5-25, Ebay 1.00

6- 25.00, Beckett 20.00, ComC 25, SL 25-35, Ebay 20.00

7- 20.00, Beckett 25, ComC 10-25, SL 12-25, Ebay 10.00

That was an exercise for sure looking those up and one thing is for sure my .35 was the best deal! I won't be running the numbers on the rest of what I bought, just showing them.

  1. I sure hope I'm not paying 20 bucks for an '85 Donruss Clemens.

    1. That one above isn't an 85', it is a 20th anniversary SP

    2. I was about to make a similar comment - totally didn't see that foil mark on the card!

    3. Crazy that a reprint is pricier than the original

  2. Nice cards. That 2019 Heritage Ohtani is one that I need for my set build. I would give .35 all day every day for that one. That is wishful thinking.

  3. Wow. You found some really great cards... like the Olson auto... and that Ozzie/Ripken Double Take insert (very cool set). Looks like eBay has the best prices... but there are deals to be had on SL and COMC.

  4. Agree that Ruth looks like a blue tint. Here is the best guide to telling which version of a '62 you have: https://www.flickr.com/photos/obctom/sets/72157602774575697

    1. Keep in mind this is the Heritage card, not an original 62'.
