As you are aware of I attended the Braves vs. Rays game Friday night. Happy to say the Braves won. The best two teams in the Majors, the top HR clubs also. Was it a knock em out of the park game? Nope. All the runs were scored off of HRs 1 each team. The Braves advantage was there was a runner on base (2-1). Murphy took one deep to center field in the 2nd inning after Wander pounded a dinger in the 1st. That was all of the scoring. Murphy was the highlight of the game, not with the dinger, but by throwing out two base stealers and nearly got a third.
The winner Friday was Derek whose Jays won Friday too.
This wraps up the Patriotic theme. Next up are wait.....wait..... Baseball players will occupy this Monday for the next FIVE weeks.
Very descriptive and informational writing on the Seal and Coat of Arms. I think there is something to be said about faith and integrity. They are important resources that need to be used properly. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteThat first seal design is wild. I don't care for the front but the back is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the current die was cast in 1986. (Per Wikipedia)
Always wondered about the usage of the Eye of Providence on the seal!
ReplyDeleteReceived your package today, John.. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteKnew nothing of this until I saw National Treasure.
ReplyDeleteGood job! 👍
Glad you got to see a good game! A well pitched one is just a good as a high scoring one!
ReplyDeleteThat bonus article could be published now and nobody would be the wiser.
