Hello folks, how ya doin? Me....I'm doin just fine. Thank ya very much. BTW, got the newest COMC order in, let's bet I ain't gonna forget where I put this one. LOL!
Last night's winner was Tom (Angels in Order).
We'll start looking at the March Tampa show tonight. I will still be going scan heavy. I didn't make a lot of purchases in March at Tampa (or in April for that matter). I think 2 deals in March 3 and 4 deals at the April show.
Okay that was the 2nd half of the 2 part deal at the 2nd purchase in Tampa back in March. I think everything here tonight was sitting in a box where cards were individually priced between $2.00-5.00. If I am not mistaken my overall price for this portion of my deal was about a quarter a card. Good deal too. I really don't remember as it has been too long now. I know that I have the dime section to show yet. We'll do that tomorrow and wrap up that show.
Yay!
ReplyDeleteYou grabbed some really nice stuff. I haven't been on COMC or Sportlots in years. Probably should revisit them.
The Conlon's are pretty cool and those commemorative jersey cards are starting to grow on me.
ReplyDeleteJust got that Grissom card yesterday. One of the better photos in the set.
ReplyDeleteGot my latest cards - thank you!
DeleteThe Gold Label cards are sharp and the relics take me back to when they were more popular.
ReplyDeleteAt 25 cents a pop, I think you got a pretty good deal. If any of those guys like Grissom turn out to be stars, it could turn out to be a really good deal.
ReplyDeleteSome of these sets I'm seeing for the first time, had no idea they existed. You're doing a much better job chasing down all your modern day Braves. I've given up, except for your basic sets you can still find in the store (Topps, Heritage, A&G, Stadium Club, Chrome, Bowman, Big League).
ReplyDeleteWish I could find bulk deals like you. And the 'new stuff that isn't new anymore', I really haven't seen much of that at all. Or Ben Baller either.
ReplyDeleteOkay I like those Bowmans Best with the chromed out team logo in the background a lot more than I should. Though the Phillies logo does look like a giant question mark to me.
ReplyDeleteIn general, I don't like manufactured patch relics but those player number cards admittedly look good
ReplyDeleteWhaaaat? Is it bad form to reply to myself? I just picked up the mail and there was an envelope with my recent winnings. And there was one of those relic cards in there! Thank you so much for your generosity! And all I have to do is comment on a blog that I'm already reading anyway!
DeleteNice selection of relic cards. I really think the Gold Label cards are sharp!
ReplyDeleteThat Conlon set is excellent. I've never seen the original sealed thing before.
ReplyDeleteYour cup of Torkelson runneth over.
ReplyDeleteGood Job! 👍
Sealed Conlon Collection binder for the win!
ReplyDeleteI like the big team logo behind the Bowman's Best cards.
ReplyDeleteI stumbled across that Conlon folder at the flea market and it was really cool, but the guy wanted too much for it. Glad you were able to grab a sealed copy.
ReplyDeletePretty soon you're gonna need a bigger house :)
