OOPS...I did it again.....again

That's a familiar post theme here on JTS. A week or so back Night Owl mentioned that he missed ripping some packs, but only a little. I commented that I did too. So, what did I do? I went to Blowout Cards and ordered up 2 boxes of non current cards.  I bought 2 boxes of the 2017 Honus Bonus because I don't see them often, and I've always wanted to bust open a box. Hadn't heard (or paid any attention) to anything said about the product other than it was unlicensed. Well two boxes should do it. I got them in and there is no sense waiting on the good stuff. I'll start with them.

I was a little excited to pull a 1/1.

I got really excited when I pulled a 2nd one and of Cutch.  That is when I noticed on the box that it is stated that you will get 2 1/1's.  I was pretty stoked..... for a minute.  I quickly opened the next box and pulled these two.

A quick look at the backs of the 1/1's.

Now right away I let Brian know that I pulled a 1/1 Cutch. While I was waiting to hear back from him, I ordered 3 more boxes (I was so stoked....at this point).


Brian got back to me in quick time, but after I pulled the trigger on 3 more boxes. He let me know that Cutch had 150 of those 1/1's in the product and that he already had 6 of them. The avg. cost 10-15.00, the wind was deflated. Oh well, it was still a fun rip and maybe I would pull a Braves 1/1 on the next go around.

While I have received the other boxes already (blowout ships fast). I will hold off until the end of the post for those 1/1's.

If you didn't notice, some cards have a silver foil HPB logo, those are parallels.

Okay now for my Braves and the other 1/1's.

Notice 2 things here, first there was 1 box that did NOT yield a 2nd hit.  Second I got another Beltre, they are different of course, and he is a PC guy.  Even though I was deflated on the HITS being so bountiful (and not valuable), I had fun. The cards are solid for no logos and sturdy too. At $19.99 a box, why not. I spent $100.00 on the Honus Bonus boxes and got my monies worth in the 1/1's. The rest are just extras, so when ever I feel safe to go to the post office (probably not until the whole country is opened up 100%) you can expect to see some of these cards in your packages from me.
