$700 million smackers
That is a whole bunch of one dollar bills. I am guessing here that The Night Owl might, maybe, just a little bit excited for the 10 year contract that Shohei Ohtani signed with the Dodgers. I know as a Braves fan I am not.
Has been somewhat amazing to see how quickly everyone turned on him after the news. As a Giants fan it's definitely a weird thing to see how much everyone hates the Dodgers now.
Not really sure if the Jays actually had a chance but I enjoyed the glimmer of hope. Hope he's able to DH to his full capacity. Not sure what his pitching career will look like though
I'm glad he stayed in California and didn't sign with the Yankees. If it were up to me, I wanted him to stay with the Angels... but can't blame the guy for wanting to win.

DeleteI’m just glad the Yankee$ didn’t get him. Maybe by the end of the contract, Night Owl will have more Ohtani cards than Kershaw cards.
