Back to the Wacky stuff, rather non baseball cards that is.
The winner last night was: RJ
Now more oddball. Specifically new Olympic cards and new Star Wars cards.
So why does that Matt Grevers guy have 2 different cards? Same sport (swimming), but different bios on the back. Is Topps hiring the same QC guys for Olympic cards as they do for baseball?
LOL, I like a lot of the vintage stuff too. I have many sets that I'm keeping. I also have about 400 non sport sets (I am getting them ready to get rid of) that I didn't collect but were left overs from that huge buyout 8 years ago. Those range from the 70's though 90's.
I wouldn't mind a more encompassing Olympics card set. The recent sets seemed lacking, maybe because it seemed like they only concentrated on the media darlings and favorites. Thanks for showing off the Boba Fett cards!

ReplyDeleteMost of the athletes had multiple cards. Counting the subsets, and inserts.
DeleteI've slooowly started getting into non-sports cards, but only vintage. It amazes me how much of that stuff is out there!

DeleteGrabbed a few of the USA cards for Alumni reasons. Is nice to have a reason to get some without committing to the complete set.
