That's right the state of Georgia had a President. At least that is what that taught us in our Georgia history books. So obviously tonight (and next week) maybe a little biased on my part being born in Georgia, high school in Georgia, lifelong Braves fan (not that that has anything to do with this articles of course. It is about James Oglethorpe.
This was a quick one, but no worries. Next week will have a follow up session that is more detailed. That one (written nearly 2 decades later) will be a part 1 of 2 (which I do not have part 2). Still, it has quite a bit more information than the above.
