The winner last night was: Update: AJ (The Lost Collector)
You may recall that I am a member of OCT (oldcardtraders). It is a small group of 30-35 members that mainly collect vintage baseball cards, but there are many that collect modern stuff too not to mention the non sports arena. Long time blogger Kyle (Nolan's Dugout) joined the group last year and he has been kicking butt. Now that I am back home (after I am organized that is) I should be able to put a hurting on his needs list. Now not Kyle but a couple of other members sent me PWE's recently. The first two scans are from member Bob R and the last scan is from Kevin M.
These 5 75's are mini's. I'm still a long way from finishing this one. My vintage needs list is actually a HAVES list for this set. Kevin sent me another PWE just today with 1 1970 Topps need. I did not scan it. Have a great weekend folks!
Those top three are in better condition than many of my cards from that era.
ReplyDeleteI assume this was some other Kevin M, though I do have a number of 75 mini dupes, so could be me. Was that Kevin M me or another Kevin M? There can be only one!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a different Kevin M. (Martens: from OCT).
DeleteGreat Chuck Tanner card. So much cool stuff going on between the old logo, alternating colors, background, etc. Very fun.
ReplyDeleteI just updated the post. It now shows YOU as the winner last night.
DeleteFun! Thank you.
DeleteAlways neat to see actual cards from the 60s as opposed to their modern reused design counterparts
ReplyDeleteReally like seeing old used checklist, you know those kids paid attention to their cards.
ReplyDeleteGood Job! 👍
Way to go AJ! I like seeing the '62 cards. I know some great people that were born that year. Enjoy the weekend all.
ReplyDeleteNothing can contain Davis's afro!
ReplyDeleteMarked checklists really bug me too.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of 1975 Topps Minis. Tried looking for your wantlist, but came up short. If you email me a link to your set needs, I'll go through my stack.
