 This post wraps up the .25ers from Daryl.

Parallel DK's on top of the needed DK's for the DK builds.

Lots of other parallels too. Thursday I'll start with the .75 stuff from Daryl.

I fell for it....

 Topps has a new gimmick and I fell for it. It is very enticing. It is not online, well it can be. But Friday I had to go to Wally World, and low and behold. An entire case 8 factory sets of 2021. They also had about 6/8 boxes of A&G. The factory sets had/s the normal enticement of the 5 rookie image variations. This year they added 5 of the factory foilboard cards. Yet, the big enticements......

ONE in THREE sets are complete parallel SETS! That's enticing. This means you have a chance at a complete 660 card 1/1 of set, it even says so on the box. I completed the set already ....twice over and still have apx. 1/3 of another set that I hadn't traded away, yet I could NOT resist. I fell for it.

Initially I grabbed the first box and then put it back and grabbed the 2nd box. Not a parallel set. UGH!

Okay, I got Pache and Adell, Bohm, Bart.

Nothing spectacular here.  Oh well, it was a big temptation that I couldn't walk by. In fact, I went back today to see if there were any left. There was still 6 factory sets and 2 A&G. I grabbed 3 more sets and both blasters of A&G. We'll follow up on those when I am done with the card show stuff.

Back to some card show cards.

 One more vendor/seller/buddy to post on. It will take several posts.

There will be two posts on the quarter cards. Yes, these vintage were .25.

As were these, and I will add that the checklists are unmarked NEEDS. Everything I got from Daryl was a need. I used my book.

I couldn't believe what I was pulling from his .50 box (I paid a quarter). Some were in the penny sleeves you see there. also noting the high number vintage too.

I couldn't pass on the extra Dickey either. Not for a quarter.

Wasn't leaving those Hygrades in the box either.

More modern.

This is a good stopping point for today. I'll finish the quarter cards up on Monday, and then hit the rest from Daryl throughout next week.

Night owl sends a bunch

 Greg (NO) sent me a package last week. 

Braves.

Greg included a note saying hopefully I didn't pick these up at the last card show. I didn't, but most of the TSC and DK Debut cards were sitting in my SportLots box. Still yet good news, as many of those in the SL box are RC or PC guys, so the will be okay. He threw in a couple of Hostess too.

He even knocked out a few OPC set build needs and look.....a vintage Bowman!

These two are 80's Fleer stickers (the backs) reminiscent of the Laughlin World Series sets. I don't know what year they are from as the stickers I use to help identify them have been removed from the other side. Thanks Greg. I'll get some Dodgers out to you soon.

Wacky Wednesday: Baseball cards

 Okay, we are back to the baseball cards. These cards are not "wacky" per say. They are cards that at some point seemed interesting for one reason or another to me. 

Lots to choose here for best card in the batch.

I'm torn between the Sprague and Beck.

Trade package

 This one comes from fellow OCTer Len.

Len needed a slew of 2021 Topps Series 2. I sent him 88 cards he needed.

Len loaded me up with some 2015 Stadium Club needs (he has more coming too), and sent a few vintage needs. I will need to upgrade the checklist and Gibbs. Len is also sending me some 2014 Stadium Club needs. He also sent a stack of 2007 Upper Deck

I still have two more "sections" from the card show to post about later in the week, but I need to get some trades posted.
