Next up: November card show and the almost daily free baseball cards. Did I say FREE? I did say FREE!

 Last night's winner was: RJ

Last month (November) at the Jax. card show I didn't get a lot. The scans tonight came from Daryl. The 84' above is a Topps Super (the card below it is just to show the size). I bought a binder from him with about 20 Supers from 84' and 23 from 83'. What was funny is that a few days after that show I received the warppers from Bo and one of them was an 84 Supers. I made mention that I would speak of that wrapper again and this is why.

Now that I see the scan of the other Super it may not be 83', I forget right now.

The reason for the purchase was not for the Supers above. It was for the Jumbo's below.

Super Diamond Kings. 2 sets! Well, one is missing 4 cards.

85' and 86'.  Love it. Paid $20.00 for the binder.

After I locate and obtain the 4 missing cards this will be just the third Super DK set I have. I also have 88'.

  1. I found a couple more wrappers including an oddball that I got at the same time as the Super. Next package . . .

  2. I have no Super DK cards. Embarrassing, given my moniker.

  3. It's almost 2023, and I'm just now finding out about Super Diamond Kings. Strange.

  4. I have some I got through a mail in offer from Topps in 1981. I think they are AL and NL stars. I'm not sure how, but I won. Thanks!

  9. LOL at the SuperDK puzzle which is almost the size of a real Donruss puzzle but has 20% of the puzzle pieces.

  10. If they really wanted to make the set memorable they should have done puzzles for the checklists!

  11. Those Super DK puzzles are awesome! As a big fan of the original Diamond Kings... I'd love to one day collect and binder up all of the Donruss Super DK's.
