The reason for the purchase was not for the Supers above. It was for the Jumbo's below.
After I locate and obtain the 4 missing cards this will be just the third Super DK set I have. I also have 88'.
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

That was a super buy!
ReplyDeleteI found a couple more wrappers including an oddball that I got at the same time as the Super. Next package . . .
ReplyDeleteI have no Super DK cards. Embarrassing, given my moniker.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost 2023, and I'm just now finding out about Super Diamond Kings. Strange.
ReplyDeleteI have some I got through a mail in offer from Topps in 1981. I think they are AL and NL stars. I'm not sure how, but I won. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHow do you store your supers?
ReplyDelete4 pocket pages in binder
DeleteInteresting.. I didn't know the super thing was common in the 80s.
ReplyDeleteAlways liked those Diamon Kings puzzles, especially Tyrus Raymond Cobb.
ReplyDeleteGood Job! 👍
Nice big'uns! And don't forget to get that Stadium Lights card in the dark to watch it glow. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL at the SuperDK puzzle which is almost the size of a real Donruss puzzle but has 20% of the puzzle pieces.
ReplyDeleteIf they really wanted to make the set memorable they should have done puzzles for the checklists!
ReplyDeleteThose Super DK puzzles are awesome! As a big fan of the original Diamond Kings... I'd love to one day collect and binder up all of the Donruss Super DK's.
