A few more vintage from the show.

 Running with some 68's.

What is great about these 68 Topps is that the lowest card number is 400.

Three of my pickings were upgrades for cards already in the binder, and one of the newbies will need to be upgraded (the backwards facing card).

Didn't grab any big names, but knocked down several high numbers.

We'll run with some 69's next time.

  1. Glad you got a few of the rookies and team cards. Seems like those would be more coveted and scarce.

  2. You got a few good ones: McCormick, Berry, Coleman, Sadecki.

  3. The A's team card is cool. I was curious to see if Reggie appeared on it one year before his rookie card, but after some research I discovered this card used a 1967 team photo.

  4. will never be a fan of '68 but they sure are distinctive. Trying to imagine kids collecting them that year.

  5. Mike McCormick looks like Dave Righetti in the photo. I wonder what the flag is behind Bob Bailey.

  6. I have an affinity for '68s as they were the most affordable and accessible vintage set I could get my hands on as a kid in the late '80s/early 90s. None of these singles looked all that familiar to me, which made sense once I saw that they were high numbers.

  7. I haven't been to a show in almost two years, but in the past, high numbers from the '66 and '68 sets were always the cheapest.
