In recent months I've tried to grab up some vintage Braves to get them crossed off.
Okay, so that Wilhelm isn't a Brave (there), but I won it off of the same seller as 4 of the others Braves plus the Banks card. I couldn't pass on the price of any of these. I know the condition of Banks and Hoyt are low grade but still. That Eddie Mathews is pretty beat up too, and I didn't need it for the team set, just the set build, but wait a minute........
There's another Mathews that I got in the mail the very day I won the other one. This one came with friends from 1952! And that Mem. card too. All from matt over at BWTP
I picked these up too. Dell Stamp of Rico. Why would I want 2 of the same T206 cards?
Actually I want every variation back out there for every card, but these have a special meaning for me. This is Harry McIntyre (which is actually misspelled). My father (long story-don't ask) is/was (lost him in 1998) Harold McIntyre.
That's it for today, I'll start tomorrow with some TRIP CARDS!
Quite the variety there
ReplyDeleteYou can't bring something up and then say "don't ask"! That's like say saying "the greatest thing happened the other day, too bad I can't tell you about it though".
ReplyDeleteOh, and it looks like you've been picking up some really great cards as of late.
Anytime you can add a pair of T206's and 52's to your collection, it's a pretty good day.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked them. I'm always looking around for good vintage to add to your collection.
