Last October card show stop. Plus FREE cards Free cards.

The winner last night was: BO

My last purchase at the October card show in Jax was with another dealer buddy Daryl. Because of the (big) purchase, I made Daryl throw in some freebies. The only thing that beats penny cards are free cards. LOL.

Well in this case free stickers. I grabbed about a hundred or so Wacky Packages... original vintage. I scanned the ones that I needed or were upgrades or were the * or ** variation which was the most of what kept.

Some of you may recall I was giving away some Wacky Package stickers not that long ago. (I still have a bunch of dupes from what I originally owned and plenty from DAryl too). Just saying.  I have some serious needs from the last few series (especially ser. 16).

Wacky Packages stickers were my first love as far as collecting is concerned. Then came the Super Heroes stickers, and finally baseball cards.

Of course these freebies or throw ins are not traditional baseball cards.

Complete 1978 set. Not sure that I needed them, but I'll check one day in the near future.

Have a great weekend, be safe, have fun. Be prepared for two more posts from Daryl same items and they will be a doozie. You won't want to miss them.

  2. I was never drawn to Wacky Packages, but Fleer Logo stickers instead. I do appreciate them though. That WPLO set is really cool.

  3. Not being from anywhere near your neck of the woods, it may be no surprise, but I have never seen those Coke wplo cards before.

  4. Nice, wacky packages! I'm sure my (bad?) sense of humour can partially be blamed on these

  7. I don't know how my comment got sent before I completed it. As I was saying I listened to many Twins games on the radio. Good times listening to Halsey Hall on WCCO radio. I used to mimic him on the play by play. Many years later I used that craft by announcing stock car dirt track racing for 15 years.
