My goodness......Topps learned something. Also Round Three.

Before we get to the real post I must give Topps some credit, well a little any way. I put my 2022 Flagship in a binder today, and realized something odd once I was placing the series 2 cards in. I be damned if Topps didn't get the backs all the same this time. They screwed the goose with series 1....again, but they got it right with series 2. Thank YOU.

The next round of scans from the 3 for a buck boxes is here. Night Owl no looking at the series 2 inserts :) dang too late. 

These 10 were great grabs at .33 each. Especially the Ted Williams and Nolan Ryan cards. Heck can't complain about Reggie either or any of the others for that matter.

Snagged some more big names here too.

The Yount was definitely a steal.

I didn't need the Holiday variation (purple scarf), but no way was I leaving it for .33.

I really like these Blue parallel cards. They look better in hand than the scan.

Okay let's try this for post 1

 When clearing the card scans I ran across more from the dealer I bought those two boxes from. I even mentioned that I had more that I bought from him that didn't come in the boxes.  It will or should run all week. 

These cards came from his dollar box and I had made a deal for 3 for a buck before I even started digging. Some were really good deals and others should have been in the dime boxes. Just my opinion.

The Jordan should have been in the dime box. My first Chrpome Black card. Have yopu ever priced those damn things, WOW! I figure pulling one of a PC guy is great deal for .33.

Quite a bit of green here with some other parallels.

Gold Topps cards for .33 is a good deal.

Gifts from Gavin & Kyle

 Just a quickie tonight. 

These four came courtesy of Gavin. He had previously sent me the Acuna, but I have commented a few times about needing another one for the PC. I now have #'s 3, 5, 6, Yes I want the rest times 2 plus another Posey and Bo. Bubble gum binder and PC guys.  :)   Thank Gavin.

These sweet 67's came courtesy of Kyle from Nolan's Dugout. Remember him? Kyle recently joined OCT and he quickly sent me cards... So I had to lay down the bomb. (I sent him him 16 PWE's).

An end to the 211 Ebay lot

 Finally made it to the end. This round will be Triple Threads to close it out. But first I need to correct something I said the other day. I made the comment about the new Topps Cosmic Chrome coming out. They look like 2021 Finest more than Bowman's Best.

We made it. That was a huge lot of high end cards. I have 5 complete sets to cover A FULL week of posts. Reminding each post will have a contest.....easy contest. Prizes will be ....

Those posts will start in 2 weeks, why you say? Because I ran across more posts from the card show boxes that I didn't post, oops. Actually some good stuff in there.

Now to the gripe. Did you see the soon to be released 2022 Topps Chrome Cosmic? Yeah, basically it is just Bowman's Best (of recent years) with the Topps Chrome logo. $290.00 for a box. I'm telling you, nuts. There better not be a Bowman's Best release this year, so I can put a fork in that run of high end sets. 

More from the 211

 Still bringing the cards from the huge Ebay lot of High end cards.

A couple of copper parallel cards with the Stanton & Koufax.

Copper Seaver and a green Abreu.

Put a good dent in this Museum base set. I have a slew of cards sitting in inventory with ComC and over at Sport Lots from the 16 different high end brands that I have been working on the last few months. 

It seems that finding these cards is easier than dealing with the current vintage pricing which should get more normal next year. Picking up all I can of these at .50 or less, SL provided a ton at .18-.25.  Can't wait to ship those two "lots". I may have even snagged some vintage from ComC. I believe I have enough completed sets already to start putting them into binders. I ordered a dozen binders and pages to fill them yesterday. Looking forward to getting them out of the boxes and into the binders. 

Still have lots more (2 POSTS) to highlight from the 211 card Ebay win. After those are done I am going to run posts for each of the completed sets. I know I mentioned that already, but want to make sure that y'all are aware those posts are coming with CONTESTS ON EACH.

High end needs

 Moving on with more Museum Collection. Just a few to kick start the week.

Now for the needs on the 211 cards

 With the non set cards out of the way, let's look at the ones I got that put a dent in the needs lists (that didn't complete sets.....yet).

Topps Museum and Triple Threads lead the way tonight. The Amethyst is a need but not a base need.

Decent write up on the backs.

I don't think I am close to completing any of the Museum sets yet. But TTT, Tribute, Finest, Bowman's Best have been the main focus of late. The Tier One and Five Star are just too darn expensive so unless it is an outright steal those certainly will be last.
