I have posted several sets in "my other blogs". A few each of Topps, Leaf, and Opeechee. At least 5 Bowman. The idea behind this was to give others the opportunity to see cards from all of the flagship sets. Some of the sites we all buy from don't have pics. This can help PC guys catch the cards where the player may not be mentioned, catch mini collections, and maybe even a specific team that you didn't realize.
Well, that's half of the reason, the other half was to have immortalized the set builds. This will obviously take me some time especially with the Topps sets as they are typically 1000+ cards.
Anyways, I've got some sets ready for your perusing. Just click on my profile and pick which brand to peek at. Eventually I will have Fleer, Upper Deck, Donruss, Stadium Club, and whatever else I have forgotten. I hope you find a card you need but didn't know you needed. (I call them Gremlins, and boy do I have a post about them.......one day).
Johnny, I checked out the blog links. I understood how much time your scanning takes - front and back! Wow! I do hope this is fun for you. Looks like a good winter time project. I'll check back later for Stadium Club and Pinnacle.
ReplyDeleteWhoa. This is quite the project. This will be an excellent resource for collectors. I hate sitting and scanning cards, so this is something I'd even consider... but I think it's awesome you're doing it. Have fun.
