Not really. I'm just yanking your chain. But I do have some highlights that I pulled from misc. 800 count boxes that I brought back from Ocala last month.
The good news is that I found 5 more boxes from the now defunct Jersey Numbers Franketset that I easily pulled about 2000 keepers out of like the ones above. The bad news is that I probably have the majority of them already in the PCs.
And just to finish things off on a good note. I have re-sorted the 100,000 cards I brought back also in 800 count boxes all mixed together for my set builds. They are now sorted by Brands. Next will be to sort those by years, and put in order then binder those up. Oh yeah and to bring back another 100,000 to do the same thing with. That won't finish it either, there will have be a third trip to scoop up the remaining partial set build boxes. Biggest problem I'm having now is keeping pages and binders in stock. In the last week I bindered up 1952-1955 Topps, 1968 through 1975 Topps, and 2001 Topps. I also bindered my Kellogg's, Hostess, and Post baseball cards. I somehow manged to get a ton of the birthday guys done as well. In fact I better go do some sorting now (year and in order).
See ya. I guess MADNESS was the correct choice of words.
Tons of cool stuff here. I remember when that Puig rookie was THE card to get. And how about that Aramis Ramirez insert!! Could be the most 90’s card I’ve ever seen.
ReplyDeleteBindered Kellogg's, Hostess, and Post baseball cards. You have my attention.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, that's a lot of work! Hauling those boxes was no easy chore either. It sounds almost chaotic. I love sorting so this would be a fun job for me!
