I should've.....

This is what is in store for tonight. Several days ago I posted the two A&G blasters I opened. I probably should have also posted my team set of Braves that I picked up from Card Barrel.

Speaking of CB, they announced yesterday that September is the last of free shipping for orders of $25.00. Going forward it will take a $50.00 order to get free shipping or pay the fantastic price of $3.75 for shipping. I mention this because the A&G Braves above didn't make $25.00, duh. I had to add some cards to make that free shipping.

These 6 didn't throw me over the total either so I added some set build needs (not scanned) to qualify. Going forward for me I'll be okay paying the $3.75. I'll wind up ordering cards more often because I won't be waiting to reach $25.00. Which usually costs me a few cards that drop out while waiting for new release to come along.

Have a great night.

Wacky Wednesday

Before I show some random baseball cards, I thought I would "update" my rant from yesterday. I figured out the new way for changing the text color on the "new" google site. Yea me.... Clap now. In fact, I have already totally colored in my 2021 Braves, and also my first Braves (1872-1979) want lists. Leaving the decades of the 80's and 90's plus the semi-decades 2000-2004, 2005-2009, 2010-2014, and the the single years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020.  I should be done somewhere around 2030.

Torn between Gaetti and Neris.

Normally I'd say Cron or the Offerman. However, the David Ross card is one of my all time favorites.

Okay Mickey Mantle monopolizes this scan. But those other three cards are pretty snazzy too.

Changes and a rabbit hole.

I am one of those guys who absolutely does NOT like change. Recently my website where all of my want lists reside MANDATED a change one that they have been forecasting for 6 months now. Well, they finally did it. I could not edit my want lists last week on my google classic site. I now have the new site. I HATE IT. Everything is SNAFU! Most of you know that I am not a techy person, nor do I have any desire of being such. The new site is different in all kinds of ways. Editing being one of them. I HATE IT. First you MUST use google drive, I have serious issues with that all by itself. I do NOT want anything of mine saved into the CLOUD. It is such a pain in the ass. I can't even change colors on my text. I am sure there is a way, but not my thing to figure it out. Google when converting the old site to the new, eliminated all of colors, and deleted all spacing between lines. This SUCKS. So if you have checked out my webpages in recent days.......I apologize if it is SNAFU.

With that off my chest, I have also changed what I was going to post tonight.

Not long ago I posted a Cadaco game that I won on Ebay. It was the 1968 game, with 1953 discs (and the 68's) complete minus the 53' Maglie. That sent me down a rabbit hole.

Definitely upgrades here.

I searched for the Maglie, as you see I got it along with the others you see above it. Many of the 118 discs are upgrades for the first ones that I got before. Now I know that doesn't sound like much of a rabbit hole. I assure it was.......I'll show you.

I now have a complete 1968 and 1953 Cadaco set box and all. But, wait that isn't all.

The 1953 box came with all of those discs above. More than a set. In fact there were 2+ complete sets.

One was 1953 and the other was a 1942........Yes, 1942 complete disc set. Lots of extras too. The 42's are more white in color and have a gloss like coating.

Obviously I now had to get the box for the 1942. Which you can see I did.

The 53' box is very similar to the 42' box. The color is off by a tad, and of course the dating of the boxes and literature.

The biggest thing was the 1942 Ted Williams disc.  Yea! However, it is the worst condition of the 42's and it is barely identifiable so I didn't scan it.

Rabbit hole.

As promised.

A couple of weeks ago, maybe less I bought those 2021 Topps factory sets and a couple of A&G blasters.

I did get one of the parallels, the lowest of the parallels. The GOLD Stars.

We've all seen way too much of the flagship cards by now, so I will only show you my Braves.

No need to show the RC Image variations, they are the same . The above were the only notable foilboards. So let's take a little peek at the two blasters of A&G. Yes, I know.....I broke my own rule about buying blasters.

Here are the hits from each box. The Yelich is okay.

The mini's. Ian Anderson mini RC design, the black bordered McCovey.

Brett and Soler (birthday binder guy) were parallels.

That is the notable keepers. I pretty much already traded away the rest of the cards. I have maybe 2 or 3 left.  I do have some major SportLots posts to get done next on the horizon. I also have several other posts from other places, including some "interesting" additions to my collection.

Last cardshow post

Well, the last card show post for awhile. I won't be attending the show this weekend, so it will be awhile before I have more. I do have a ton from SportLots to show off, and others as well.

For now I'll wrap up the last of the $.75ers from Daryl.

A boat load of 68's, mainly high numbers mixed with some other needs.

It is always a good thing getting vintage needs that don't have to be upgraded in the future.

Look at LaRussa's hair. Compair that to those 20 years later, lol.

Alrighty, y'all have a great safe long weekend!

Daryl's $.75 cards.

Like the quarter cards there will be a couple posts. Also like the .25ers, I got some good deals, and not so good.

The biggest difference here is that most of the cards in this post and tomorrows is that they are high numbers.

Very happy to get some high numbered 72's.

Just a reminder: I took my book with me, so these were all needs.

I'll finish these up tomorrow.

Wacky Wednesday (baseball cards)

Let's see what pops up tonight.

A lot to choose from here.

Same with this batch.

I couldn't pick a favorite from the three scans. Maybe you can.

Back to some quarter cards

This post wraps up the .25ers from Daryl.

Parallel DK's on top of the needed DK's for the DK builds.

Lots of other parallels too. Thursday I'll start with the .75 stuff from Daryl.
