2016 Triple Threads, GORGEOUS set. plus the freebies!

Some griping first: Archives checklist is out and the braves have 168 cards, 18 base with 4 being SPs, 14 base non SP's have parallels (duh). The gripe: not 1 single card of the ROY candidates Spencer Strider or Michael Harris II.  There are 2 base Soler (gone), 2 base Chipper (retired), and 2 base Hank Aaron (not complaining on him) why not 1 Strider and Harris? I don't get it.

Friday night's winner was GTT.

Normally I like a background, a real life background, but this set is beyond beautiful. Love it.

The cards look even better in hand.

There you have cards 1-100. Last night's winner was:

HELP

I am trying to make tomorrow's post and Monday's. And it won't upload my scans.

I rebooted computer, cleared cache and cookies, and nada.

help!

(no free cards on this post)

It's working again,

A TEN Dollar deal plus Free cards.

This deal cost a whopping ten bucks.

The complete set of Yankees pins, mind you I am no Yankees fan. I do however collect a lot of the players. It is a neat item.

To make it an even better deal.

Not an expensive book by no means, it is still a nice little bump.  There are a few more SUPER deals from Fred. One cost me $20.00, another cost $30.00, and the last deal will run all next week and maybe even two full weeks. I can't wait to get that deal. Definitely not your normal posts. I will let you know at the end what it cost.

To win FREE baseball cards, follow this blog, and comment on this post before midnight.

Last nights winner was: John Sharp

The rest of the customs. and FREE FREE FREE cards!

Okay, Tuesday I ended that post with a Kobe custom Dodgers card. Let's go from there.

This is the back of the Kobe card. Probably should have ended the last post with it. Not sure why I didn't.

I grabbed another what appears to be a custom by the same "maker". Three of the four players are PC guys, so that one I am keeping. If you notice it is slightly shorter than Kobe.

The backs side by side.

The batch above are not customs. Love the Starting Lineup cards. Yes, I know all Yankees. The pair of Mickey Mantle was nice, as is the Wander Franco. You really can't go wrong with Soto or a Trout numbered to 25!

Now we are back to the customs if you can call them customs.

The rest are sort of customs. They are NOT "original" sketch art cards, but I consider them in the class of customs. They are images borrowed/cropped into a card program by Vela, he didn't actually create the  photos, just used them on his cards.

Is that an Altuve Christmas card?   We'll let Gavin decide. After all he makes customs, and collects 12/25 cards.

No idea what is up with the top Campanella. Numbered 0/0, the color on the front is different from the other, I don't know maybe a test proof or something. I do know this.... it isn't everday you see a card numbered 0/0.

Last night's winner was: The Diamond King

Back to the show cards plus the daily (weekday) baseball card giveaway..... Free cards.

Refresher: I always start out with at my buddy Fred's table/s. He had stuff from 2 other sellers he was handling for them along with his stuff.

There are the two Braves Grissom cards that I paid way too much for. Not complaining though. (I mentioned the Heritage Minors Vaughn previously). I also mentioned that I scooped some amazing deals. The cards tonight were just an average deal. I have 1 more post to cover the other half of this "buy" from Fred. Not sure when I will post those yet.

A trio of Wander Franco.

Now for some vintage.

Yes, I know those are dupes.  Turns out that I only needed 1 of the dupe pairs. 3rd row 1 for set build (upgrade) and 1 for the Doby PC plus move the lesser condition card I already had to the Minosa PC. I put the Kaline in his PC.

Couldn't leave this one in his glass case either. Turns out I already had one in the PC and the set build. I have to see if it upgrades either.

Now that is an Odd Ball direct from Topps.

Fred thought this card was a stadium giveaway, but I'm pretty sure it is a custom. I grabbed all of the baseball custom/sort of customs from Fred.  Those will be in there own post.

Last night's winner was: Night Owl

Complete sets: 1999 Bowman's Best plus the FREE FREE FREE baseball cards

Braves sweep the Mets! Now that is how you take over the division and title (of course the Braves need 1 win over Miami or 1 loss by the Mets). 2nd team in the NL with at least 100 WINS, 3rd in all of MLB. Yay, I feel good.

Okay let's get to the set.

Overall, I am not impressed with this set. It is okay just doesn't wow me.

The last half was much better than the first half.

We are getting to some of the great deals that I pickked up at the September Jax card show. There is so much that it should last for all of October, so it will be November before I get to anything I picked up this past Saturday at the Jax show.

Friday night's winner was: Jafronius.

GTT, NICK V, AND RTT

I still need the addresses for the 3 bloggers/readers listed above.

Special note this post is not a normal post and will not have the free cards associated with my normal weekday posts.
