As the title indicates time. For instance a week ago we (Central Floridians) were not liking the sub freezing temps. The the week finished up with a couple of days in the 70's and this past weekend (Friday) began hitting the low 80's. That is my kind of temperature. I like the 80's.... a lot. Here I am typing this up on Saturday afternoon in the mid 70's at the moment with hopes of 80 expected by sundown. Ahhhh. (Didn't happen only got to 76).
One year ago my brother Jack, my sister Kathy, her family, and I attended the first annual blue grass festival down town. Now I am okay stating that I enjoy 99% of most music genre's. However, Blue Grass or supposed Blue Grass is not in the upper ranks. It's okay. That festival is happening today (Saturday). 8 plus hours of different bands/groups all afternoon and into the night. The difference is the temps. Last year after nightfall, it got down to 17 degrees, burr and me no likey. As I just mentioned those are not the temps today. BIG difference for sure. It turns out as I opted not to attend this year, that my brother remembered last year leaving his dog (GiGi) unattended was cruel, and this morning called to ask that I go let her do her thing while he was away to give her some relief. Then just moments ago, my daughter Hunter said her and my grandson Elijah were stopping by. And they just got here so I will take a break right now.
Now I shall start the Ormond posts with the over sized box toppers that I got from my recent visit.
The Toys R Us were actually a complete sealed set of 11. The ones scanned here are PC guys.
To finish up I couldn't leave the current Holiday Ornaments behind.
I hope that everyone's week is a grand one.
I always liked those Master Photos, storage was the only issue.
ReplyDeleteI love that Devers card, I still need to get the regular version.
ReplyDelete80 degrees in February does not compute. My wife would haaaaate it.
I have never had any OS box toppers. I do have most of an OS set from a 1981 Topps set. Storage is challenging. Have a great week. We are heading for some below zero temps again.
ReplyDeleteWe hit 60 degrees here in Indiana today... False Spring though as we will get highs of 30s by week end.
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to drop a note you're envelopes made it today. All except 1 of 4, so I am really excited to open them but my type A personality will wait until 1 of 4 makes it!
Thanks for passing these slong and really excited to see whats in there!
1) There are 3 more coming then the giveaway card too.
Delete2) the ones you just got apparently were sitting underneath a stack on my kitchen table for at least 6-8 months. You may no longer need those, but round 2 should be fun to open.
Awesome! Thank you! This is one heck of a stressful week at work so these gifts are greatly appreciated!
