Wacky Wednesday

This week's round of cards that I find interesting in one way or another.

The Gattis card is still one of my all time favorite cards. Love it. Just in case you are wondering why Charlie made this cut.... Come on look at that stare. At first you might believe he is staring down the photographer, but he isn't. He is looking out on the field at something, not sure what but something. Throw in the "civilians" on the field makes the cut.

Be naughty everybody.... Just kidding, be nice.

  1. Dang, Ryno cleans up well.
That Gattis card is top-notch -- one of the best cards I've ever seen.

  2. Charlie was never scary until he came to Atlanta. He seemed kind of nerdy to me when he was with the Brewers and Mets, but the Braves made him tougher I feel. After he left them he invented the first goalie style catchers mask when he was with the Blue Jays.

    1. You are right about being nerdy with the Brewers. He was still sporting the man-perm in Milwaukee.

  7. As an autograph collector... the Mahler stands out the most to me. But the Gattis is really cool too. I remember that photo standing out in the set that year.
