Hey folks,
My mom is home once again. Hopefully for a long long time this time. My cousin is in from GA to be with with her for a few days. I will try to get some cards scanned for a post over the next few days, and maybe a contest to celebrate my upcoming first year blog anniversary. Thanks again for all the well wishes. I will be back to my old self soon.
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

Finally back at my house
I have been away from home taking care of my mother since coming home from the hiospital Wed. before last. Care giving is tough, I knew that already, but man oh man. Anyways, My mom is back in a "specialized" rehab hospital (not a nursing home rehab), that should whip her into shape (pun intended). Expected to be there for several weeks, so I should be able to keep up with the blogs I folow and read, plus make a few of my own posts. Over the last week and half I got a few PWEs.
This beautiful 69 Niekro came from Richard Dingman from "oldcardtraders". The "DING"man sent this in return for a handful of 1920's railraod train tobacco cards I sent him.
Another nice Niekro from reader Mark Hoyle, who just so happened to send the rest of this 1976 SSPC complete set, thank you Mark!
These three came in a 9 card lot win from Listia. I needed 5 of the 9.
This 4 pack was originally part of a 6 pack but I drank the other two. Fellow blogger Kyle from the blog "nolans dugout" sent these needs for my want list.
BTW, I did a MAJOR update to the Braves needs page. It still has a lot more to add to it (1994- present), and then I get the pleasure of going back through and marking off the ones I already have. SUPER time consuming project, but it was something that I was able to do while at my mothers. I was able to "list" the 1966-1993 Braves cards that I had lazily not listed before, and still need to go back and mark off a few that I have, lol. I am actually looking forward to getting that all completed, so that I can start a new project, the pre-Atlanta Braves wants. LOL.
Anyways, I did get a couple of other Listia wins in not pictured 1974 Atlanta Falcons cards that were missing out of that set.
Take care, hopefully get some cards in today to scan and post about tonight. I really like being home.

A few from the Bay and others
Recently I went browsing around the Bay and picked up these ripe Oranges (keep in mind, I live in Florida)
Ten Orange parallels numbered to 250 from the 2014 Bowman set including the BP 1 you see directly above.
I was also very fortunate to pick up this goodie, or should I say Goudey from 1933!
Yeah I know the paper loss hurts the card, but still.....
Fellow trader John Stamper from the Oldcardtraders (OCT) website sent along these dandies.
76 Hostess, bringing me to a total of three. Yippee.
1982 Topps.
The Classic cards came from reader Mark Hoyle, and the five football cards, well those are for my Gators in NFL binder courtesy of Mark Germana (VCT)
Reader Mark Hoyle also sent along these (minus the 33 Goudey). SWEEEEET Chippers.
1955 Topps came courtesy of Nate Mack from OCT!
OCT is really a great group to belong to. It may seem complicated because you have to make 5 trades (5 points) per quarter (3 months). It is super easy.. I mean super easy. For example, Nate just blindly sent that card above, so I sent a thanks on the website email and he gets a point. Although the group is called old card traders, many of our members collect current sets too, and not just baseball either. I usually randomly send 5 unexpected surprises myself at the beginning of each trading period, and whamo, I'm done.
The beuts below came from Mark Germana over at VCT (vintage card traders), like OCT without the points, and again most of these members collect newer stuff too and this group is HUGE.
OOPS, this scan is out of order. Oh well, the orange bordered 1988 Donruss are the baseball best set 9the rest are below minus one more that I need).
Again this group got out of order, some 1988 and 1989 Donruss Baseball Best.
The rest of the 1989 Donruss BB minus 1 card I need for that set too.
Mark didnt send the 1955 Topps above, thats the same one posted above from Nate.
This foursome hits my 9/16 binders. That gets me all caught up with the cards that came in. Now just to let them sit for awhile until I find time to get some binder pages, LOL. We all know what that is like.

UPDATING MY MOMS CURRENT STAY AND SOME CARDS TOO
Well my mom has a few more days in the hospital, want to thank everyone for their comments. She has pneumonia this go around, not good for someone with a bad pair of lungs, bad kidneys, and ticker too. But she is doing well and will get out sometime later this week.
I got some nice cards in this week, so first I'd like to wrap up the last of the binder finders and disclose the blogger/trader that sent them.
Some more parallels.
and some more.
Another gold card and some needed 2014s.
A nice parallel of McCann and a HANK!
Some Gallery goodness.
Very nice cards! Gold label and a Museum.
Extra nice Triple Threads cards!
More Triple Threads!
A Turkey Red RED and GOLD and an Archives Reserve!
A Chrome trio of Prado. Red, Silver border, and White border.
Some Stadium Club sweetness from Wes over at jaybarkerfans junk. Yep,Wes sent that huge box of goodies that was sitting by my front door because they wouldn't fit in my mailbox.
Thanks Wes, enjoy the vintage!
