An OCT trading buddy from CA sent me some Starting Lineup Talking baseball cards.
Each and everyone a PC guy. Huge thanks go out to Tim Morales.
Have a great night!
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

RIP Burt Reynolds
I grew up with Smokey and the Bandit, loved it! The Longest Yard was great too. I USED to have a FSU football card of the Bandit, but it was given to a cousin. So no card just a RIP post.

The end of the Line
That is to say this is the last post from the card show I attended last Saturday.
A whole lot of shiny here plus the Robin Roberts serial numbered card.
These are so thick. I have no idea what Topps was thinking. There is absolutely no reason for these cards to be this thick. But hey they're mine now.
YES, I did already have this card, in fact I have two of them. So why did I get it? Well, I had a super huge stack, actually 2 stacks of the refractors, serial numbered, short prints, autos and relics and I wanted the guy to cut me a super deal. So I bought this one and overpaid for it intentionally. I figure it probably will upgrade one of mine and then the other card will either become trade bait or a Super contest prize. We'll see.
Relics and autos and a serial number or two.
Now for some Braves......
That Nestle's Chipper was damaged and I didn't know it plus I already had it, so there was .50 thrown in the trash. The two 2004 Topps Chrome refractors are nice, especially the black.
Grabbed up some needed Acuna's. I even grabbed a dupe of that Chrome card so that I can take it to the game on 9/23 against the Phillies.
More Acuna, and some Albies love here.
Parallels. That green parallel looks just as good in hand.
The only thing making the purple Inception better than the green Newcomb is the on card auto.
That is my first Hank Aaron relic card. Beggars can't be choosey.
That wraps up the Braves portion of the card show.
It wouldn't be normal for me if I didn't grab some vintage non-sports.
Have a great night!

More RANDOMNESS
I'm going to pick up where I left off yesterday. Goodies from the show.
I had never seen the "miniature playing cards" before. Apparently they were released in 1969. By far the best card in the 9 above.
I really like the look on the black A & G. I picked up several superstars in the black.
Nothing too special with these 9. They do go very nice into the PC though.
Same with this page.
A few colorful Puig's, refractor Ichiro, and a serial numbered Gehrig and a Gwynn.
Nice AP of Mantle. I probably already have those Ohtani's, but oh well. The Kershaw looks great too.
A lot of the teal was snagged this trip too. Pretty much ALL of the Topps Chrome in all of the scans are refractors.
The Trout top right in this scan was not a refractor like the one in the previous scan. Nice Posey RC!
Oops! I guess I moved that bottom card.
I grabbed this entire set for a buck. It had Justice (my least favorite Brave of all time on the front).
That will do it for tonight, have a good one!

R & R time
Who doesn't enjoy a little R&R? I know I do. Although this isn't about rest and relaxation or recreation. Its about two unrelated "things". 1) Reminising, the other day Fuji posted about 1991 Topps cards having glow backs which I didn't know. Later that evening I found myself thinking about "lightning bugs". Do you remember them? We would be running around as kids in mid summer catching them putting them in a mason jar. Of course we took an ice pick and poked holes in the lid, not that that was going to keep them alive very long. I then wondered when was the last time I actually seen any. It must have been at least a decade if not two. I just haven't seen any. Talking about poking holes in the lids my uncle and I wound up talking about how when we both were kids every school boy had a pocket knife, usually a Barlow or Old Timer. They weren't banned in schools back then and go figure never once did anyone ever use them or attempt too (on another person). No, boys just got into fist fights back then. anyways, onto #2) Randomness: On Saturday I made it over to the Jacksonville card show and over the next several posts I'll show you folks all of the randomness I brought back.
How's that for random? Beautiful Blue shiny, HOF auto, and serial numbered to 15!
All cards featured in this series of of posts will be PC guys in random order for the most part. Includes low-end and high-end products and should take four or five days.
Now what you are looking at tonight are the ABC's except for the last scan.
This is the complete set which I think I may have picked up a couple of months ago also. So I may already have these, but I grabbed the set anyways.
Plenty more to see so you won't want to miss out. Just saying.....
Have a great night!

Braves traveling across the US
Mark aka Fuji sent out a lot of packages recently, and I was the beneficiary of one of them.
I got my package yesterday, but didn't scan them until today. Karma, fate, or whatever but this flyer for one of the local Japanese steakhouse's was sitting on the counter of a local Chinese restaurant. I took it.
Yep, these 9 were needs. Lot's of shiny refractors here, love that blue mirror Giles.
Needed these 6 too.
These 6 as well.
I needed these 5 too. Mark that's a lot of hits to my needs lists, thanks. And making sure I give credit where credit is due.......Mark is and has been the most frequent commenter on this blog for the last 3 years running and huge thanks for that!

Shadow Shots
Let's try one of these easy posts. "IT'S YOUR CALL"
This week our shadows will all reign from 1994 Topps.
I'm not sure what I see other than an odd shadow, what do you see?
I see a baby giraffe, what do you see?
A typical shadow for sure, but what do you see?
I don't know, maybe an old-school playground ride... What do you see?
I see a warped witch's hat, what do you see?
Have a great weekend!
