As promised for you sticker lovers and/or vintage non-sports folks. I'd also like to gift y'all with some more good news and that is I will be adding TWO additional weeks to this run....the giveaway portion to be specific. When I added my variations and upgrades to my Wacky Packages vintage binder, I found that I had not removed the dupes/extras from one of the series plus turns out the possible upgrades weren't.
To be clear.... the stickers here tonight are not the giveaway cards they are my keepers) (except for those possible upgrades that are not specified but should be in the last scan or two). However, those are being given away in about 5-7 weeks from now.
I only previously had 1 piece to the Beanball puzzle, now I have two. Doubled up. The other 8 were definite variation (* or **) needs.

It’s crazy how some of those products must have been made by companies that have went out of business or were part of a merger or were sold because I don’t recognize a few.
ReplyDeleteI also think that they couldn’t get away with some of the jokes nowadays.
I think most of them are still produced today, and you're right about some of the parodies jokes not getting by today, but they still produce Wacky packages (they're just not as good as the originals).
DeleteThese posts make me happy.
ReplyDeleteI stuck many of these to my bedroom closet door in the70s. They were still surviving as of my last visit in 24 👍
ReplyDeleteI used to get a pack of these after my baseball games…until my mom saw them. I wasn’t allowed to get any after that. 😢 She didn’t think they were funny, at all! Not sure what ever happened to the handful that I had. I recognize several of the ones you posted.
ReplyDeleteFun stuff, good memories!
These are entertaining when you know what products are being made fun of. I know I had bought a few packs when they first came out. I decorated my school binders with them. Too bad I didn't keep any of them. It's fun to see these.
ReplyDeleteShot Wheels is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThese cards are crazy, especially the Choke King Chop Sticks.
ReplyDeleteOh that glue... Never figured out how to use it other than jamming scissors down the top to rip it open. Then too much glue....so the sticker isn't too far from the real product, lol
ReplyDeleteYou definitely couldn't make some of these today!
