Last Monday (not yesterday) I drove my neighbor to the hospital for an outpatient surgery. It was supposed to be a short trip so I figured I'd kill an hour or so at the LCS. I spent a total of 4 bucks! That's it a whopping 4 bucks. It was amazing. I got enough cards to post throughout this week.
You might ask how is that possible? I grabbed twenty Heritage cards from the back (charged me $2.00), and I grabbed 2 cards in top loaders at a buck each. $4.00 (the top two below). I also glanced at the kids freebie box and noticed some stuff that no way would kids care about some of them so I got them too. I'll spread out the goodies over a few posts.
The other 11 cards were 2026 Heritage set build needs. That was a great $4.00.
I'll pop out some of the free stuff on Thursday and again on Friday.
BONUS INFO: Did you know?
The 2025 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary base checklist just came out along with the 38 parallels.

4 dollars well spent in my opinion. Cheap entertainment. Even a Tony Oliva in the group. Applause for you by helping a neighbor! Kindness goes a long way. Enjoy the hobby all!
ReplyDeletea. Hope everything went well with your neighbor's surgery.
ReplyDeleteb. That's cool that your LCS has newer cards for great prices. I'd buy Heritage inserts and parallels for a dime each all day long.
c. Topps is releasing a 2025 product five months into 2026? They need to get their stuff together.
Freebie box?? How cool!
ReplyDelete4 bucks spent well indeed!
ReplyDeleteThey're still doing the Anniversary set? We're close to halfway through 2026!
