Before Jeremy came over

Need 4 more for the giveaway!

A couple of weeks ago Jeremy (Topps cards that never were) came over to the house. He brought me some cards and then we were heading over to my LCS (Grand Slam). I had just visited the shop the Sunday before and when he reached out on Monday about coming over on Thursday I suggested we visit the shop. I will have the Thursday post up probably Monday, but tonight is what I picked up on that Sunday before he came over.

As is my usual started my dig in the quarter boxes (5 for a buck). Found some more magazine cards.

I grabbed a FB relic and a BB auto out those cheap boxes, figured why not.

I was excited to find the cards below in the boxes for sure.

Many of you may know that I collect the DK puzzles and actual DK cards (They are complete up until the 96 or 97'. I forget at the moment. The serial numbered ones are lacking to say the least in my collection. Yet, I was unaware that the Ted Williams (above) existed. Now to complete it.

I typically grab a handful of non traditional set cards when they are all together like the ones above...... and below.

Those Mantles were nice finds too. So much that I didn't even mind grabbing the Arod's with them.

More cards that I couldn't leave in the boxes. The cards are usually added to every day keeping them full, so you never know what you can find.

Now let's go to the Braves I picked up.

Technically this isn't a Braves relic card, but it is a Braves card that I didn't have, in fact all of the Braves cards pictured tonight were new to my collection.

I didn't need this vintage, but for .20 I wasn't leaving them in the box either. You may recognize that 68' and the Seaver from the giveaway because that is where I put them.

More mag cards.

I didn't get a bunch of cards on this trip but was content with the few bucks I spent.

  1. Nice finds again. Brett and Puckett on the same card is different. Any Puckett is good by me. Have a good one all!
