My brother and I did well last night. Leading the way the entire night, right up until the championship final question. Which we got wrong, or should I say Jack got wrong (my answer would have been the correct one). We had fun and that is what it is all about. Lots of rebus puzzles last night, those are fun.
As you may have guessed by my Braves post and the giveaway post, lots of magazine cards. Topps Magazine, BB price guides, baseball card magazines, SCD, Allan Kaye's, and the like. I held out the baseball on the giveaway as to not give away my posts for the rest of the month, lol (10 posts worth). When I am done with this visit I will hold another giveaway with just magazine baseball cards.
I forgot to mention Tuff Stuff and Tuff Stuff Jr in the monologue, oops.
A great place to end right here.
Have a great night!
Having fun is what it is all about. Glad you could do that. Nice variety including the Japanese cards. Enjoy the night all!
ReplyDeleteJohn Dettmer shouldn’t have been unknown. Look up his minor league stats. He was absolutely dealing for the Rangers minor league clubs. He just couldn’t handle the majors and I’m assuming had some arm issues as well.
ReplyDeleteIs trivia done now? Or new round starts?
ReplyDeleteSome nice cards, the teal on grey of the Tuff Stuff Jr hurts my eyes a bit though. Have a great long weekend for those that have one!
every week is a new round. we play every other week, because the food is expensive, lol.
DeleteA. Just curious... what was the final round question?
ReplyDeleteB. Back in the mid 90's, there was a brief period where I was obsessed with Signature Rookies products. The idea of one autograph per pack was really cool and there was a company called Mail Order Concepts who had them on clearance.
C. The Bonds Home Run Heroes set is cool... but a pain in the butt to complete. Every now and then I'll find someone selling starter lots at a reasonable price and I'll snag them.
The final question was: What is the smallest organ in the human body. I felt it was the pineal gland (and it was), my brother wanted to say (and we did) the pituitary gland.
