Optimism is a good thing, then again so is realistic. I am both all at the same time. My glass is definitely half full (not half empty). I was supposed to be going to the local Villages card show today. They only do 3 a year (every 4 months). Tomorrow I had been planning for 6 months to go to the Collectibles show in Deland it is HUGE (they do 2 a year). Alas, I am not doing either. I will have to wait until January to do both again.
You may ask why? I have the Flu! Taking the high road and staying home so as not to get anyone else sick. I believe I have crossed from the worst of it to the backside recovery part, still a very snotty nose though. Maybe TMI there, but it is what it is. I could be all down in the dumps, but I am not per say. Sick yes, not messing with my cards too much. Just getting some rest after all, I have been burning it at both ends for months now trying to get stuff entered into TCDB. I will update you all on that now.
Braves first: I haven't been adding much into the system in regards to Braves lately. I am still 564 cards behind that other guy.
Total unique cards in system: I moved up the ranks to #29 a jump of 6 spots from last month.
Total baseball: I up'd that by 1 spot moving me into #16. Pretty soon I'll be in the top 15 and then the top 10.
Gaming" jumped 12 spots to #149 (I only have 3,467 cards in this category).
Non-Sports: I stayed the same for 3 months now siting at #23 with 25, 217 unique cards.
Now it is time to see what you see in the shadows.
A Gazelle?
Because I am not participating in any hobby activities this weekend, scans are on the short side. I should be good for a week as it is right now. I will have to remedy that as soon as I am well enough by 1) visiting Grand slam (my LCS), and by 2) hitting up at least 1 of those Tampa area card shows.
We'll see :)
Have a great weekend people!
