The week is moving slowly probably because I am planning on hitting the card show in The Villages on Saturday. I hope to find some deals this go around. The last two not so lucky. We'll see.
In case you are wondering about the Grand Gainers, back when I first put them in the binder I had no idea there were a dozen parallels of these cards. Yes a dozen parallels of an insert set back in 1989.
Going for #1 UPDATE: As of today I have Atlanta Braves unique 31,900, and that other guy has 32,519. (short 619 cards)
I do currently hold the #1 spot for Milwaukee Braves with 1,332, him 1,103 tied for 2nd.
Boston Braves has me in #3 spot with 432 (#1 has 538), him #10 with 209.
grand totals: (all 3 team cities): me 33,664 him 33,831 putting me back just 167 cards.
619 cards short seems pretty doable for you. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGet him!!! You should order those 619 from online and don’t put them on TCDB and then order 619 different ones so you have him no matter what.
ReplyDeleteA. There are three different A's in that Grand Slammers set. I'd love to one day own every version of them (although I had no idea there were a dozen).
ReplyDeleteB. 167? You got this!
I want that #1 spot for all 3 cities, especially Atlanta.
DeleteHow had I not seen that Ken Dayley card before?
ReplyDeleteGood luck hitting #1.
ReplyDeleteI like the Ken Dayley card. 2 Gloves = More Plays is perfect math.
Didn't know about that Ken Dayley card. Good get that #1 spot!
ReplyDelete#1 is hard to do, but you have the ways to get it done. Two gloves are better than one? I tell the players I coach to use two hands to make a catch. Two gloves would be confusing.
