The winner last night was: RJ
Okay, it is time to finish off the hanger packs of Chronicles I bought with a finishing touch of a couple of "special Chronicle cards and then my Braves.
I'm not chasing the AMERICA'S PASTIME set, but I did pull two.
Now for the couple of special cards.
Alas, my Braves needs (for the team set). 4 Acuna's and a pair of Strider's.
Some of these designs do look like they were meant to be displayed together in a binder.
ReplyDeleteThose Zenith cards are really nice in hand. That Torkelson card could be a really good pull if he turns out.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I like those Vertex cards but I keep coming back to them because there's something interesting there. I suspect they look fantastic signed too.
ReplyDeleteAlso. As much crap as Panini gets, if Topps released a set like this all four of those Acuñas would feature the same photo.
ReplyDeleteTopps used the same photo for Strider across a half dozen of their sets last year, dumb especially for a hot rookie card.
DeleteThat Connor Wong "America's Pastime" card is pretty sweet, gonna need one for the Catchers Card binder.
ReplyDeleteGood Job! 👍
The XR and Zenith are definitely the nicest of the lot!
ReplyDeleteA new Chronicles post, and more card "brands" I didn't know existed.
ReplyDeletePretty low # on that Tork! Won't miss Panini though.
ReplyDeleteThe Zenith cards are nice! Anything pulled numbered to 10 is great.
ReplyDeleteZenith yes, Panini no. Kinda glad they are gone.
ReplyDeleteThese look pretty fun to open. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVertex...lots of unused space there.
ReplyDeleteThat Torkelson #'d to 10 is a really nice pull. Bet you can trade that for a nice Acuna or another Brave for your PC.
