Now for 9 Leaf & Donruss (scans), 3 OPC (scans), and a single Bowman (scan).
Which brings me to the question: How will I store these? I believe that I like them folded back as if they were unopened and placed in a binder page. Now, I could also keep them spread out like I scanned them. There are binder pages with three slots, I may even have some. I am leaning heavy on the folded option.

The OPC wrappers are my favorites of today.

ReplyDeleteI remember when I discovered that OPC cards existed. I had to completely go through my collection again and I found a few more mixed in with my Topps cards.

ReplyDeleteDonruss wrappers, like their cards, strike me as a little boring. The ones with the stripes are pretty good.

I put my 1972 Topps wrapper with my set in the binder. Pretty sure I used a one pocket *8x10 photo" page.
ReplyDeleteSeeing that 1987 Donruss wrapper sure brought back some fine memories. The only place I could find packs of that stuff was at the Japanese grocery store in Japantown. I'd try to make sure I went with my mom every time she hit up that store, so she would buy me some packs.
I was too young to collect when they were new. Not to mention being in the middle of wilderness didn't allow for much in the way of collecting opportunities..
ReplyDeleteI remember when I first started collecting in 1987 and we were visiting relatives in Canada. Went to a convenience store and saw cards and was able to buy a few packs, but never heard of OPC til I opened them and was semi-angry about buying Topps rip offs.
