The winner last night was: RJ (I need your address) e-mail me.
Now a little post covering a few things before I get on to the last post(s) from the September card show.
The 61' Fleer was needed for the set build (he also sent me the Max Carey but I already had that one). Adcock is fore the set build too. The 1996 Diamond Kings Chipper is for the DK sets as I did have one for the team set which also counts for the PC. The Smoltz is for the old "theme" and will be be again next year "Wacky Wednesday" as I had one recently for my team Braves and made comment to such not long ago. Perfect.
Most of you are aware that my Uncle passed a month ago, and although he is gone now he has found a way to contribute to this blog.
Baseball stamps.
My uncle had a few more contributions too, but those are in specific categories that once posted I will make mention where they came from.
Tomorrow will be back to cards, just not baseball cards and thus close out the Sept. card show. Actually it might take a few days.
That worm ranch card is insane! The old military payment certificates are very, very cool as well!
ReplyDeleteThose baseball stamps are very cool! Wow, I won. I just need your email address so I can send you mine. Thanks, RJ

DeleteThanks. Address sent via email.
DeleteThanks for the cards and patch. My daughter loves the Wild patch. Nice Twins cards, especially the Puckett's.
DeleteI just traded away a few of those Kraft home plate heroes cards. Must've come off the back of a box?
ReplyDeleteAlways liked baseball stamps, and I like that Thurman Munson card as well.
ReplyDeleteGood Job! 👍
Your uncle seems like he was a very interesting guy. Would love to hear more about his life at some point, seemed he got around quite a bit. If you want to share, of course.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice and varied haul. I agree with Bo that your uncle sounds interesting and we'd like some stories if you have them.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if anyone would comment on the worm ranch card, and am not surprised to see that everyone avoided that one :)
ReplyDeleteThe very first comment covered it. I most certainly am not one who cares about being PC. Nonetheless it is very funny. I was wondering it being from Tennessee if you were going to comment. You can email me if you like.
DeleteI really wish I would have seen packs of Dukes of Hazzard back in the day, because I would have bought (or begged my mom to buy) a bunch. Loved that show.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Sweet Mother's Cookies Campaneris!
