I am up to the thirty dollar deal. I will be breaking it up into 3 posts. I may cram the rest into tomorrow's post because it is one "complete large oddball set". We'll see
Last night's winner was: Bo
I know that I have this St Vincent's stamp set back home, but why leave it.
Not a bad way to start off a good deal.
What's the second set? It looks intriguing.
ReplyDeleteGot cards in the mail today, really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteLove that old school catcher picture, probably Roger Bresnahan, NYG HOFer.
Good Job! 👍
GTT stole my question. Let us know when you figure it out!
ReplyDeleteWow definitely some old timers on that second set of cards. Especially cool if the backs are all as descriptive as the Spahn card.
ReplyDeleteVery cool additions!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the win, and for the latest cards which arrived today!
ReplyDeleteBurleigh Grimes with the spitball is my favorite, but those are all fantastic.
Fantastic looking cards - gotta love that old tome photography!
ReplyDeleteNice black and white photos!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Spahn was from Buffalo, NY. That's not all that far from me. As others mentioned, that second set is pretty sweet looking, would love to know more about it!
ReplyDeleteYep the second set appears to be a big hit, we're all interested in it. Got the latest winnings today also, thanks!
ReplyDeleteOkay: looked up the cards. They are 1995 Baseball's Hall of Famers Creating History. A 36 card set.
ReplyDeleteYou've probably created a run on that set now.
DeleteCool stamp set. I've never seen it before. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNew here! Enjoying the blog so far. How do I enter the free card giveaways? My email is benjaminray25@gmail.com if that matters. Going to keep scrolling backward to get caught up while I wait.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Benjamin. You're following the blog, so all you have to do is comment before midnight (EST) M-F to enter for the cards.
DeleteGreat! Thank you. I'm a set builder mostly focused on Topps baseball 1989-current and random football sets from the 90s; my favorite players are Barry Sanders and Cal Ripken but as a Michigan man I root for the Lions and Tigers. Currently working on my Topps 2014 and 2015 base sets.
DeleteI was thrown off by the title...in my world OOH = "out of home" (as in billboard advertising)! Looks like a very interesting set.
