Blowout Cards: Wacky Packages.

Last month I bought some stuff from Blowout Cards. There was a super deal on some 2010 ANS Wacky Packages that came in cereal boxes (miniature boxes). The deal was 3 (a set of boxes) for $9.97. For some reason I wasn't thinking that they would be the same same stickers I had bought back in the day. I bought two deals. Inside each pack were bonus stickers. Now those I did not have, the bonus stickers. Because I have shown the 2010 ANS 7 stickers a few times over the years (and will probably make a run again in 2025 or 2026 I did not scan the set of stickers, just the inserts.

Two complete insert set that  didn't have before.

Another completed set of inserts I needed (the last two cards are below).

Along with 7 parallel pink versions of them. I probably could have bought those complete insert sets for about the same $20.00,  but at the time I ordered them I had a major ITCH to rip packs. Even though I did already have the regular set of stickers I wound up with pretty much 3 more sets plus extras yet. I am pleased with the purchase. I also bought a CASE of some STAR WARS cards that I did not have. I'll post those tomorrow night.

Be safe!

Kyle's shop: Part FOUR: The Dime boxes

Alright we have made it through the week. All that is left for me to do is when that near $450 million Mega Millions tonight. Yeah, I could do that. In reality though it is the perfect time to close out the last trip to Ormond Beach.

I nearly filled a 3K box, but it had plenty of room to throw in another hundred or so cards....maybe 200. I wasn't really worried about it as I actually went through 53 3K count boxes and blew through them in about 2 1/2 hours. I'd say I did good, at least made good time for sure.

I did not scan the box, but did grab out some highlights.

Obviously, I showed you the Donruss set to start off the posts from Kyles shop, but these are my BRAVES.

Some more Braves pulled out of the dime boxes. To be clear, I actually paid a penny a card. Yeah, I did good!

Now for the non Braves.

I did not catch that Julio Franco had signed the back of this card until I scanned it! Definitely got my penny's worth there!

Crazy that some of these I actually doubled up on by pulling them from the dollar boxes too (paying .33) for those.

Gunnar Henderson rookie for a penny. (actually there are a few of them up there plus I pulled dupes too).

Have a great weekend folks. Next week I should start posting the Jacksonville card show from 2 weeks ago. But I will be starting the week with Star Wars and Wacky Packages I bought from Blowout Cards.

Kyle's shop: Part 3: The dollar boxes.

Alright, made it through the first half and now to start the last half. I grabbed quite the stack from the dollar boxes knowing I would be paying 3 for a buck. Even then some of the cards weren't that great of a deal, but many were a steal.

I had to start out with the new to me Braves.  The rest are not Braves.

Grabbed these females up and scanned the back so that you could read the bio.

I'm already tired of this insert set. Come on Topps, put those creative minds together to come up with some new stuff.

Neither of these inserts appeal to me.

This one either. Topps..... get it together.

Tomorrow night I'll close out the cards from Kyle's shop with the dime box finds.

Kyle's shop Part 2: Really BIG cards. 99.9% DEREK JETER

Just one player tonight. These are over sized big time jumbo's and I am guessing were part of a mail offer or online offer as they are all serial numbered the same 35/49. Starting right off the bat I am missing 1993.

Missing 2000.

missing 2007

Finally missing 2015. Now it seems to me like early this year I picked up a few of these. I am hoping so and that they are from the same original set too 35/49. Anyways, I'll have to try and remember to poke through the boxes sitting on my pool table (that's is where they would be). Remembering is the hard part.

The next two cards are not Jeter, not as big, but are box toppers.

Okay that was my really big show (reversing how Ed Sullivan would have handled it).

Have a great night folks.
