A bit of this and that plus the FREE stuff

The winner last night was: RJ  (I need your address) e-mail me.

Now a little post covering a few things before I get on to the last post(s) from the September card show.

I got a package from Dime Box last night. The first 6 cards here are for PC guys, and the only that looks familiar is the Dandridge. The next three are all needed Braves for the team sets.

The 61' Fleer was needed for the set build (he also sent me the Max Carey but I already had that one). Adcock is fore the set build too. The 1996 Diamond Kings Chipper is for the DK sets as I did have one for the team set which also counts for the PC. The Smoltz is for the old "theme" and will be be again next year "Wacky Wednesday" as I had one recently for my team Braves and made comment to such not long ago. Perfect.

Most of you are aware that my Uncle passed a month ago, and although he is gone now he has found a way to contribute to this blog.

The front side is pretty funny of the worm card. I have also since scanning these found a few more cards of the DoH cards.

I believe these are from 1969.

Baseball stamps.

My uncle had a few more contributions too, but those are in specific categories that once posted I will make mention where they came from.

Tomorrow will be back to cards, just not baseball cards and thus close out the Sept. card show. Actually it might take a few days.

Wrapping up the wrappers

Wishing everyone in San Jose is okay. They had an earthquake today.

The winner last night was: John Sharp

Now let's wrap up these wrappers.

I'm not sure how many different wrappers the original Star Wars run had. I'm pretty sure I may have a yellow back home, just not positive.

I maybe that I had a yellow Jedi one.

Halloween, how appropriate.

Finishing it off with a pair of Wacky Packages wrappers. Hopefully y'all enjoyed the wrappers over the last 7 posts. I would say that it was $5.00 well spent. I really didn't need "another" collection, but hey it's got a great start. Now, for the good news, those aren't the only wrappers. There were lots of dupes. I have a bunch if interested reach out.

Wrappers and free baseball cards

The winner for Friday night was: TDK

Now let us begin the journey (will take 2 days) going down the road of non sports wrappers. I know that many are not interested and I also know that many are.

Yes, that is a Reggie candy bar wrapper. Oh well. Technically, both of these wrappers are baseball. LOL. So are the next four.

Pretty sure I have all of those sets.

Vintage Elvis wrappers.

Vintage 60's Batman!

Not vintage Batman.

I absolutely love these stickers. Collected them as a kid right along with my Wacky Packages. If you have some I want them, no matter from 74, 75, or 76'.

Planet of the Apes. As for Tarzan, yeah I didn't collect those.

I'm not sure if my 1978 Kiss set is complete, maybe.... This is the stopping point for today. We'll "WRAP" things up tomorrow.

Wrappers: Leaf & Donruss, O-Pee-Chee, and a Bowman. Guess what? There' are free cards tonight, lol.

 Winner winner chicken dinner: Jeremy

Now for 9 Leaf & Donruss (scans), 3 OPC (scans), and a single Bowman (scan).

You have your 85' & 86' wrappers.

I think 87' and 88'.

A pair of the inaugural 81' Donruss.

82' & 83'.

84' & 85'.

86' & 87'.

88' & 89'.

Here you can see 5 wrappers that are folded to fit into a 9 pocket page slot. Also you can see the 90' & 91" wrappers.

Which brings me to the question: How will I store these? I believe that I like them folded back as if they were unopened and placed in a binder page. Now, I could also keep them spread out like I scanned them. There are binder pages with three slots, I may even have some. I am leaning heavy on the folded option.

My brain is fried, I forget which year these O-Pee-Chee wrappers are.

I need to find me a 1983 OPC wrapper.

A pair of 84's.

Closing tonight out with the first two wrappers for Bowman.

Next week (Monday & Tuesday) will have non baseball wrappers.

Have a great weekend. Be safe, have some fun.

A pair of 82's.

The top wrapper is obviously from 1983, and the bottom.... I believe is from 1984.

A pair of 1987 with the two being different colors.
