Before I show the 6 cards pulled from the 1978 binder, I figured I'd throw out the numbers for the other binders.
1975 Topps 356 in NM, 76 was about 50%, 77 was 99%, and 78-79 were about 90% complete. Overall the cards were in NM condition, however the 76 and 78s were similar to the 1970 binder posted yesterday. The 1982 was missing one card and NO it wasn't Cal! or any other star for that matter, but I had plenty to fill it and send it on to my buddy Bob.
Can anyone see the difference between these two cards? More importantly....... why?
It's not perfect, but it works for me.
Nice Schmidt card.
Caught with his mouth open. lol.
Again, not perfect but hey it's an Eddie Murray Rookie.
Complete sealed set! Lots of odd ball cards and sets in this acquisition. More on Thursday.
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

Better start showing some of this stuff, huh? CONTEST
I know it seems like I've been gone for a month, wait a minute.....I have. First I was sick for 2 weeks, then kind of stumbled in to 1 million plus cards and other things. Probably closer to 1.5 Million. I managed to scan some things piling up on my desk, so that will last for a while.
I did take pictures of everything as a whole and that took 15 separate pics, so I will place them here in the future.
I'm starting off with the VINTAGE binders. There were binders for 1970, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, and a complete binder of 1982 Topps.
Most of the stars were present, however the ones in the 1970 binder were not all NM as in 90% of the other binders.
The 1976 binder (no scans til 78), didn't have any of the super stars but I already had them.
1977 binder had all of the key cards.
The 1978 binder (scanned 6 cards for tomorrow) had all but 1 key card.
If you check my Set Build want lists, you can see just how big a dent I put in them as I have updated them, but I have found a few hundred singles in the 250+ monster boxes of single cards, and eventually will get them updated too.
There was a complete set binder for 1982 (but I already completed that set.)
Of the singles found 95 cards for 1963 Topps, 50 each for 1966 & 67, and lots more for the 70's and some 50's too! OOh and a Goudey! I think it maybe a reprint or something it is just too nice and clean.
Kind of messed this scan up.
Even though this Hank Aaron has the tape it was still my favorite from the 1970 Topps binder as I needed it for the Braves team set which COMES FIRST! Speaking of which my desk is now piled up with a couple thousand Braves that I need to see how many I need. Anyone care to guess how many will be needed for the team sets? In fact I will have them (the first 2000 Braves) checked by the weekend, so guess here and if you are a follower and live in the US... (sorry , but the postage outside the US is horrible, and I still have a box that has been sitting on my sofa for close to a year ($60.00 postage to Italy, one day I will get it out).........
I will reward the winner with some great stuff. CONTEST ENDS ON SUNDAY NIGHT AT 6;00 PM EST.
Guess here and the closest wins, in the event of a tie, the first posted with the closest wins.

HaHaHa HaHaHa. Oops, I did it again.
Right about now, you bloggers with the musical twist should be playing the aforementioned song title. Why you say. Because I did it again, but this time, my biggest haul ever. No scans today, period! My buddy (vendor) Bob and I went in on a small buy out. 25% of the haul is non sports and some super cool stuff in there. I will show some of those sets over the next year or so. The remaining 75% is comprised mainly of the 4 main sports, with some golf thrown in. I would say that this 75% is also divided between unopened Wax (PREDOMINATLEY JUNK WAX). I wont complain I did pull a 1989 UD out there too and a 1992 SF Giants Stadium Club Dome sealed set (check Ebay and see what that sucker goes for). The other half is completely un-searched monster boxes, in order by sets and labeled, cool! anyways. I will be back to posting everyday just as soon as I get these boxes some what situated ( getting Bob his half. There is at least a million cards, maybe even 2.
Have a fantastic weekend, you know what I'll be doing.

The last post from the Big Deal PLUS 1
Yeah, I still have one last post. And I probably shown half of these already, but oh well. Happy to rid the scan folder of this series. But first the PLUS 1.
This Antonelli rookie came from an OCTer buddy. Nice..
The following are all cards for my PC (player collections). I tried to not pull to many of any one player so that I could get as many different guys in here.
Even found one for the Presidents collection.
Because these are going into the PC, that means I already have one for the set builds.
I originally had planned to break this up into 2 posts, but I really want it done.
They may very well be my first Wonder Bread card.
One last word...... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

A Trade plus 1
Just like the title says it's +1.
The PLUS 1 is the 1998 Score Chipper Jones in the upper righthand corner. However, it's not what is looks like. It's a SAMPLE! Won it on Ebay delivered for .12!
The 8 Greg Maddux cards above came from fellow OCTer Tim Morales.
Tim also sent along these Maddux cards too, and all 11 were needed for the Braves collection.
Tim sent along these Frank Thomas cards too.
Big Thanks Tim, I know I gotta get a return out to ya soon.

new to me
Got these in while I was sick too. The came from Tee Tyson Macon Georgia. Mainly, odds and ends and all new to me for sure.
An auto is always nice.
Tee sent along a sealed team set , I opened them. Although there are still a couple of Braves that weren't included in the team set that I need.
My favorite cards from the 2 packages Tee mailed were these HITS.
Down to just the Frank Thomas rookie now. Huge Thanks to my buddy Tee. I'm almost 100% (not quite, still have the snots). I have several packages to work up, just don't want to be handling too much right now. I will get some packages out soon though.
