Last night's winner was: Jafronius
As I mentioned yesterday I didn't buy much at the show. The following two scans came from my buddy Fred.
I bought these seven 1997 Topps Screen Plays complete with the tin and all the stuff inside of it. That is all I bought.
Have a great weekend, be safe have fun.
BIG Daddy GrandSlammer card is pretty cool, definitely something very different.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific weekend!
Weird, wild stuff today...
ReplyDeleteJuan Gonzalez twice in one night!
ReplyDeleteI have one screen plays card, 1998 I think as it doesn't have the big logo on it. They're pretty good, like a more advanced Sportflics, but they're not as amazing as the tin makes them out to be.
ReplyDeleteI like the tins, the cards not so much.
DeleteA slightly trippy card day - metallic players and moving players.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Jafronius. Interesting items in the blog. I always have a hard time focusing in on the photos in the Screen Plays type of card. Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteWoo, back to back days! The Yount Grandslammer will be haunting my dreams...
ReplyDeleteThe Hideo Nomo Screenplay may be the best card in that set.
ReplyDeleteScreen plays were definitely cool.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they made a brass Rickey or Gwynn slammer. And those Topps Screen Play cards are pure awesomeness. I bought an unopened box back in 2018... but wanted to keep it sealed, so I picked up a complete set on eBay that I could enjoy. It was so worth it. I sat there playing with it for at least 15 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThese coins look like BanDei coins. Any idea what year. I referee volleyball and use one of these coins as my flipper coin and it generates interest frequently.
ReplyDelete1995 Grandslammer
DeleteThose "coins" are slammers, which were used when playing Pogs.
