I got my long awaited Sport Lots box (2 orders in one) that had been sitting there for most of the year. Nearly 300 cards (276). No, I am sadden as they were not all Braves. Maybe half, and most of those had since been acquired. New to me Braves total 74.
What really pisses me off is last weeks update after I put in nearly two hundred Atlanta Braves cards (includes the 74 cards from this order), still doesn't show them as unique Braves in my collection. My numbers remain the same as they were a month before (as of yesterday). His numbers changed every single day..... I haven't checked today as I am writing this post in the morning, but I will. I did get some Braves at the Deland Show, that I haven't put in yet (kind of waiting to see when the last cards finally show up.

Love the "El Olwine"
ReplyDeleteLol yes I had to zoom in to see what in the world that said.
DeleteIs that supposed to be Ed Olwine, the pitcher from the junk wax era?
DeleteYes it is
DeleteI love hearing about the competition with the "other guy". Don't let up Man.
ReplyDeleteReally nice variety in the cards. It would be interesting to know how the tracking and counting system works. Keep going and enjoying the hobby.
ReplyDeleteI love it when I have a SportsLot box shipped. Of course I usually save it up and only do one a year.
ReplyDeleteI’ve think I’ve got a little over a hundred in there now. Lately I’ve been just buying them outright instead of waiting, unless it’s less than a dollar for box shipping.
I only check my Royals total about every other month, so I don’t know how often it’s updated.
I only use the free to box sellers, except on a rare instance. tcdb updates typically throughout the day everyday except when comparing complete stats against by category which is monthly.

ReplyDeleteWell, he is The Olwine!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't you remove cards from the order? I don't involve myself in those services, I just assumed you could do it.
