A few weeks back I won an auction for a lot containing 2026 Donruss from Ebay. It was the first half of the set minus 7 or 8 cards (I have a few in my sport lots box, but the rest are noted in my Donruss Set builds). I scanned the first nine cards as by now most have already seen them.
Not Panini's worst design and at least they filled the back with "stuff". I also picked up a large chunk of the second half of this set (Rated) last week over in Deland.
As for the 2026 Bowman, I picked up quite a bit at the Deland card show which I will start highlighting (mainly the Prospects, and the Chrome Prospects) and the other pick ups later this week. I made 2 purchases at the show with a total of about 800 cards plus the cards Jeremy brought me.
I agree it is a nice design. Similar to some of the past designs including the back. It would be fun to see a peak of the second half. Enjoy the day and hobby all!

ReplyDeleteI don't follow closely but my sense of Panini's baseball designs has been that for whatever reason they've been sorta monochrome (grey plus a team color) and plain compared to the football designs. These are kind of wonderfully two team colored and as a result are some of the nicer ones I've seen them make ever.
