I made it to the card show this past Saturday, and brought back over 30,000 cards. I bought 6 more of those $20.00 boxes, and 4 that cost me too much more. It will take me awhile to go through them all, but I did make other purchases at the show that I can get posted. However, I'll be posting the recent ComC delivery and several other deliveries too like the HUGE SportLOts box that came in today. I am pretty sure I have enough to get through until the end of the year, especially with the two inventories that I have not requested shipment of from ComC and SportLots.
I noticed this today.
The Dodgers have 92 wins, the Astros have 87, then the Mets and Braves 85, 84, the the damnyankees at 81 no other teams have 80 wins in September yet. Seems odd for some reason. I checked last year for this date same thing 5 teams with 80+, but a lot at 78, 79. I skipped 2020 for obvious reasons 2019 had 8 teams (yes LA had 92 then as well).Back to the post.
Tonight we will be starting with the good stuff from the ComC order.
Those are dupes, they are all 3 variations of the card plus the bottom two are from different sets.
Here is the reverse side. As you can see the top 6 are in fat different. I needed all of these for my Braves team sets. Obviously, I still need them for the actual set builds, but for now I am quite pleased.
Lots of O-Pee-Chee Braves cards. Love it them whatever. Big dent in the 75's too.
Closing out with these 3 62' Post Braves. I mentioned last week that I had the Cimoli coming in that would be nicer than the one I got last week. It is much nicer and this I have decide which one stays with the Braves and which one goes to teh set build. I think I'll put the nice one with the Braves.

You have randomized this list 3 times.
Have a great night.
I'm always jealous to hear about those $20 boxes, there is nothing like that at the show I go to. I also quite like the vintage OPC cards!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have ask Jeremy below how I work my magic at card shows. He's seen me in action.
DeleteYou’re going to have to hire a full time card sorter if you keep getting boxes from shows, but I’m sure that’s a good problem.
ReplyDeleteIf you move close to DeLand, I’ll do it for half the going rate
I just finished going through the "4" boxes. Compete waste of money, big time. I haven't cracked the lid on the $20.00 boxes yet. Those are multi sport, and they'll have to wait for quite a while to break down.
DeleteI love those Fleer stickers. I wish that there was a modern card set that featured large team logo stickers at a one-per-pack insertion rate.
ReplyDeletebut you know if they did that they'd make a dozen parallels too.
DeleteGreat early Bowmans. Interesting background on the Carlton Willey card. Wonder what's going on there.
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see what you get from that big purchase lol
ReplyDeleteI went through the 4 box deal, and there ain't nothing in it, wasted my money. Now the (6) $20.00 boxes will be fun to go through, but it will be awhile as I have a ton to post before I get to those.
DeleteSo, somehow I missed a day.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of those cartoon World Series cards.
I'm couldn't fit 30k cards in my house
Good Job! 👍
I can fit 100 monster boxes in my mini van and still have room up front.
DeleteDamn this is the buying binge that never ends! ... I can't get fired up over Laughlin variations but I do love those cards.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine where you're storing all of these cards.
ReplyDeleteAnother nice batch of cards here. When it comes to Braves, I collect the Canadian born.. Early years that would have been Jeff Heath. OPCs are always nice to find, especially if they're not too chewed up from production
ReplyDelete30,000 cards is a lot of future entertainment. Sounds like a blast!
