RIP Tom Seaver & more 2020

Lost another great one yesterday. RIP.


Now onto some 2020 Topps Fire. But first let's look at the Target shelf this week.



Yes, a full shelf. Tons of Chrome, and I didn't buy any of the Chrome. I have avoided buying blasters for the last two years with the rare exception. This was one of those exceptions. I bought ALL of the Fire. I will say this, to build this set (which I am not) would be very difficult and expensive. I scratched an itch and it was expensive. I may have to go to the Jax. card show this Saturday. We'll see.





Starting out with some autos. All available for trade, preferably Braves.

Now we are starting to look at my keepers that go into my "future" PC boxes.








I think this is a good stopping point for today. I'll bring you the good stuff tomorrow. The rookies (that didn't go into my "future" PC box and the cards for my PC.

    I see you've gotten up the courage to return to the big box stores.

    Of course I'd like those Dodgers, but I need to do some work on accumulating stuff you need. It's pretty damn hard to do though when my card aisles look nothing like that.

      They have been doing the shows in Jax since July 4th. I haven't gone yet. I still may not, but I want to.

    I'm interested in the Flaherty Flame Throwers card. I'm sure I can find some Braves to send you.

    Is there an autograph in every blaster? That's going to make it tough to stay on the shelves.

      Hobby boxes ($70) have 2 autos each. The blasters are more like 1 auto per 4 boxes. I've set Flaherty aside for you.

      I was about to say '90s. Those yellow-on-white ones (DJ LeMahieu et al) look more '90s than most '90s sets.
