I took yesterday off from posting. Forgive me, lol. It's not that I couldn't had or that I didn't want to. I was just super busy on my PCs. An 18 hour day yesterday was. Left out at 6 am heading for the first card show I had been to in over 20 years, but I will cover that some other time.
Today's post is about a week old. Remember the sweetness I grabbed from my buddy/vendor Bob last weekend? Well, I felt obligated to administer a little "keep the local guy in business". So, on Sunday a week ago, I went back to the market and spent the day with Bob, this time I wasn't haggling prices although BOB continues to tell people the longer I stay the more money it costs him. For most, that might come as an insult but I've been hearing that for around 20 years so I don't care. LOL!
Anyways, let me get to some cards.
I liked these 2005 Legendary Cuts so much from the few I had gotten earlier that I had to go back and get more. And more is what I did, to Bob's disgust. He wanted these for himself, no.... I didn't take his. I only grabbed the ones he had doubles of, other than the Mathews not shown above, but he had that one out for sale for $1.50.
I grabbed so much goodness that I am needing to break them into multiple posts and this is where I stop today.
That is a great looking set. Looks like you pulled a couple of Mel Ott's for yourself there!
ReplyDeletewound up with a few dupes, thought I caught them all before that scan.
DeleteSP Legendary Cuts always had solid designs, but this one might be their best.
ReplyDeletelooking at the others I grabbed up yesterday at a show (several posts from now) definitely great set designs. I bet you are so excited for the National.
