Finally able to clear out most of those backlogged scan folders, and will be finally able to start posting some of the stuff I got from The Villages card show back home from earlier this month. (The first Saturday of the month). I went to a show in Tampa last Saturday too. I do have several posts to clear out first, but I see the daylight. Like these relic cards. (so many I'll have to make 3 posts).
I grabbed a whole box of relic cards from a Jacksonville show back in the start of the year.
Oh, yeah......autographs too.
Okay, first cut off point. 2 more of these posts.
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

The other half
Picking right up where I last left off. The second half of the Larry Fritsch Negro League Stars.
That completes the set. I did break up the set so that I could place cards in the PC binders of the HOFers (and a birthday binder).

The other "set" I picked up
I picked this set up on Ebay (from Fritsch cards).
Fritsch originally put this set out back in 1986.
I scanned the backs so you can read a tidbit about the player.
2 Jackie Robinson card #11, but 1 is a sample.
There are a lot of stars in here for sure. So from here until the end of the post....I'll just let you read the card write ups.
This is the half way point. I will stop here and finish up this set on Monday.

Wacky Wednesday
At this particular time I am considering making a 4 hour (each way) trek to a card show this Saturday. I know I'm nuts. Nuts enough to probably go, we'll see.
For now, some colorful for you.
Later.......

Hanger bust
I mentioned a few days ago about a hanger box I picked up with a coupon. I got a $1.50 off of Topps Chrome. Came with 3 regular packs and a pink refractor pack.
2 PC keepers.
3 PC Keepers, and the 4th goes into my "real card" boxes.
Got my Acuna 84'.
.
My pink pack. I'm on a pink kick. I'm trying to get as many of them as I can these days.
Special post on Thursday. See ya.

My Hall of Fame binder(s)
Way back at the beginning of the year when I posted my collecting goals for this year, I stated that I wanted to get a handle on some of the HOFer's that I didn't have a card of. There were a lot. I commissioned Gavin with some of them, and I went on the hunt for all I could get. I did get a bunch, but a few weeks ago I still was not where I wanted to be. So, I ordered a couple of sets online (well, Ebay).
Here is one of those sets:
I grabbed up this complete HOF postcard lot of all of the Negro League Players.
Not idealistically sound as they are not regular trading card size, but they will in deed fit in the 4 and probably the 6 pocket pages.
I didn't give up on finding regular sized cards. I bought another set of cards that are regular size and will post them later in the week.
I did BIN on both sets on the same night and this one showed up before I left for Florida, the other came the day I got back.
I keep separate binders for my HOF'ers and include the members as PC people. Notice the female above. I also have a Colgan's chips from Hometown Heroes of her too. I also include the executives, and other members of the HOF.
I will get the other set I bought posted probably tomorrow.
