I have finally gotten around to make a (written) list of my Bowman and my Upper Deck cards. At least the sets I'm still working on. Today I will show you one card from each Bowman set I am working on. 1989 and 1990 are already complete, and 1991 is near complete besides being really boring.
I will say that I do like the fact these vary from year to year, and even the ones that are similar are different enough.
These 9 are less appealing to me than the first 9.
2013, 2014, and 2015 are okay to me, but the other three, not so much.
A blog about the cards I get awesome deals on, cards that I have available to trade, trades and our hobby in general. I collect Braves cards (all of them) and T206 White Borders.

Mark throws a strike right down the center.
I posted last week that reader Mark Hoyle sent along some 2016 Heritage to get that build moving, but also mentioned that he'd be sending some fabulous 1972s. He did.
Mark managed to fit these 24 cards into a PWE (.89 postage), and just so happens to be the same number I had, so he officially doubled my 1972 Topps cards, Thanks Mark. I super appreciate it.

Silly Saturday
Let's look at the next few cards I find interesting.
Obviously him holding the batting helmet for the opposing team.
This one clearly speaks for itself.
No, not the throwback uniform, just the beanie cap. Love it with those shades.
The net.
Horseplay.
That's a big bag.
This billboard is overwhelming. Seems like they could've found a better shot.
More horseplay.
One of the most (just one OF) animated players on cardboard.
And as a bonus.....
Nice.

Franken Friday
I haven't posted this theme in awhile. This Franken-Set post is from the Jersey Number Edition. we are up to Number 7. I'm only showing the first two pages of each Jersey Number, although many have many more pages. Here are your 2 pages:
Just a refresher: I'm trying not to repeat a team on a page or a set, but not always possible. The King parallel takes this page for me. What you were expecting Mickey? Not on these two pages, lol.
Here I doubled up on the Reds, Dodgers and Expos, not to mention the Reds, Dodgers, A's, and Phillies held a spots on page 1. I'd have to go with the Ashley Pinnacle card to take the best looking card on this page. One day I will reorganize the pages in this binder, just not in the near future.
Have a great weekend!

trade post
Well, sort of a trade post. One of my fellow OCTers offered up through waivers some oddball baseball cards. I claimed any that were Braves. Here's what Tim Morales sent.
Complete set of the 1993 Duracell cards still sealed in their original cellophane wrappers. Only 2 of the 24 players are binder guys. That not to say the Baerga and Fielder cards wouldn't fit somewhere, maybe they're signing maybe one of the other minis. Unlikely, which doesn't matter as these are staying sealed anyways.
Another complete set of the 1988 MSA Fantastic Sam's disc set. I already have the Murphy so this works just fine.
And now for the the one's that made me make a claim. 1982 Topps sticker VARIATIONS.
This is the complete 48 sticker set. The Braves are the first two #'s 17, 21. I have no idea how to tell these apart from the regular sticker set though. For now I am leaving it as the set which means I still need the Braves variations for the Team set.

Wacky Wednesday
Up to Series 5 from 1973/1974. This set was tan back only, but had 3 different copyright variations each having both * and ** technically making there 6 variations. There are 32 titles with 2 distinct Cram stickers (33 available stickers). The RARE Cram was the sticker that replaced the Nastee, it is better known as "Maggie" Cram. The die cut border is different on it as it was originally the same as the Nastee, but was then corrected for the normal Cram sticker. Nastee Crush was pulled before the initial release, but can be found on the Topps PROOF uncut sheet that sold on Ebay. Here are the stickers that I own, the 32. I do NOT own the Maggie Cram version. I also want/need an unopened pack, wrapper, and the puzzle set.
T.C.G., PRTD. IN. U.S.A (one of the copyright variations available as * or **. this is the only variation of the copyright that I own.
The other 2 are as follows:
T.C.G.. PRTD. IN. U.S.A
T.C.G. INC. PRTD. IN U.S.A.
The outer ring is missing, thus I will need to upgrade this one.
