As predicted, I am home. I now have 2 meds to take twice a day for the time being. They were going to "shock" my heart to attempt to knock it back in rythym however I chose to wait until I see what the VA says (which I know they are going to find a different (one of my choosing) cardiologist who will probably recommend the same thing, but this time no doubt with pre-approval (it's kind of expensive, lol). Now I am positive the VA would have paid had I chosen to stay another day and got it done to see if it worked, but I am a zero risk kind of guy. I will let my VA Dr, order it that way it's not an issue. With that said even though my heart rate is CRAZY wild it is still considered "controlled" albeit it jumps from 74 (my base line) to as high as 240 non stop but usually maxes out around in the 140's.
Thank you for all of the well wishes, I appreciate it very much.
Now let's knock out another wacky Wednesday very APPROPRIATELY I might add.
One more to go (maybe).
Stay warm folks.

Glad you're back home. Best of luck getting your ticker under control! Scary stuff.
ReplyDeleteGlad also to hear you are back home, but I trust the VA Dr. will follow up with you for more testing. Prayers continued for your condition. Polonia is hoping his bat is legal. Conseco looks like a Rangers version of Atlas. Currently 1 below zero. Stay warm, safe, and enjoy the time.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home and have a plan!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes!
ReplyDeletea. I feel like I'm a zero risk kind of guy myself. Glad you're back home. Hope the meds do their job and your heart rate gets back in rhythm.
ReplyDeleteb. Had to go to COMC and take a closer look at the Daryl Boston card. I couldn't figure out why there was a hole in the other guy's back. Turns out it's his hat.
1) I was right, made the right call on the shocking, my VA Dr confirmed if that needs done (and probably will) will be done at the VA hospital in Gainesville next month. The meds are only to prevent me from having a stroke they wont fix the electrical signal mishap.
DeleteSorry to hear of the health issues. All the best!
