The last 7 days flew by. Hump day once again and time for some interesting cards.

Now for those of you that were lured in on the Greg Maddux announcement:
In case you didn't catch my scatter brains post: When I re-started my PC updating I fell short of my normal system. The largest portion of that was a 2 row box apx 1000 cards of Greg Maddux. Well, I have now updated and re-updated his numbers on my PC page. I added roughly 300 cards to the PC and 6 to the over all total Maddux unique cards. Now in addition to the Maddux dupes (technically most of the cards in the PC are dupes too) that I did a week or two ago I now have apx 600 or so MORE!
What do I do with this huge stack? I am thinking some kind of GIVEAWAY.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? HOW SHOUDL I GIVE THEM AWAY?
Do 9 card scans again like the last giveaway????
Or one lump sum (however there are dupes within the dupes)???
Comment contest???
Let me know your thoughts below.
Have a great night!

Send any Dodgers Madduxes to me (though I probably have them all). ... Otherwise 9 card scans might be interesting to look at, at least.
ReplyDeleteLook at the Griffey and Martinez cards. Who even knows what slides even are? After my Dad passed in January, I now have the slides that he took from the 1960's through the 1980's to go through. Literally 1000's of them. Lots of history there. It might be easiest to have a drawing for them all at once. I liked the one page to anyone giveaway, but that would involve multiple PWE for you. Any way you do it sounds good to me. Enjoy the time all!
ReplyDeleteHeading into the glory days of wacky photos.
ReplyDeleteGiving away that many cards - I imagine a package will be a lot more cost effective. Maybe a giveaway that makes people work a bit.
A. Not sure how 1994 Pinnacle's stellar photograph slipped under my radar all these years.
ReplyDeleteB. As for the Maddux giveaway (super excited about that), I'd say do whatever is easiest, convenient, and cost effective for you.
A lump one might be fun for Maddux collectors.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that it was bad news about Greg Maddux, glad it's not.
ReplyDeleteThe page giveaway was pretty fun.
