Time for the next round from last weekend's card show. It will be a short one.
Below are the three cards that I spent the most for and in reality probably paid full price, too late now.
Topps Now.
These three cards were in that pricier box of cards. I knew that I didn't have them and because that TCDB "other guy" is right back where we started with around 1,100 ATL Braves more than me. Even after I added all of the new to me Braves from this show (about 50, he added 47 in one day then the next added a dozen more). I still call BS!
I will be focusing the rest of this year on just obtaining Braves, that is unless there is a super deal like the $20.00 box here, and the $10.00 Heritage box (BTW: there were 4 SP's in the box).
Have a super weekend!

It would be pretty hard to find 5000 cards for $20 that wasn't a great deal. Numbers and stats are easy to prove correct if you are the one that created them. The only way that would be hard is if you are not telling the truth to begin with. With all the Braves you have added I'm not sure why you would not be gaining ground. It's almost like "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a" certain sucker. The world may never know! Enjoy the hobby all!
ReplyDeleteI would like to joke that Johnny hasn't figured out that I'm pulling one over on him with an alternate account, but I wouldn't even want to pretend that I owned that many Braves!
ReplyDeleteBut I do feel your pain. I can't seem to gain towards the number one slot for Cleveland Browns cards.
lol, that "other guy" lives in Ohio.
DeleteIt's hard to pass up a 5,000ct. dime box for $20. Like you pointed out, the 5 row box alone is worth $6 to $8.
