1952 Topps

How often does one get in the mail a couple of 1952 Topps cards? I for one certainly don't get many, especially unannounced. A total surprise for sure. They came with a note stating: "A couple of "mini's", but I hope they can be place holders for you.

The cards themselves cover the "mini" angle. They certainly will serve as place holders, but I won't be stressing over "UPGRADING" them. For the immediate future and then some, they'll do just fine.

Have a great weekend!

  1. A collector before his time, wishing there were borderless cards.

  2. Years ago, someone gave me a Pafko that was trimmed. I like it and think it looks better trimmed and borderless.

  5. Trimmed by the guy that thought of the idea for Stadium Club cards? We'll never know.

  6. Got room for more '52s? I have some of various sizes that can be sent your way.

  7. I've still got 146 and 232 set aside for you, sounds like their condition won't be a problem.

  8. It kinda makes them look more like photographs in a way.

  9. Mini or not. Anytime you can add a pair of 52's to your collection... it's a good day.
